wait for more reviews

I'm still waiting for reviews that aren't written by offended sjws.

the opposite

So Rotten Tomatoes is like golf?

It's clear if you read most of the "fresh" reviews they're just being kind, probably because they're tired of bashing DC even though they deserve it.

Post yfw DC was finished.

this
Armond's opinion is the only one that matters

Every. Time.

Reminder
>100% - Everybody thought it was good, came out at right time but years later appears average
>70-99% - Very pleb friendly flick with the odd patrician speaking up stating its the same old shit they've seen before
>40-69% - Genuine mixed opinions. Either a Marmite film or just a pleb friendly flick with too many gimmicks
>20%-39% - Niche Masterpiece hated by the plebs because of low intellect. Years later becomes recognised for its accolades
>0-19% - dogshit

If you read some of the rotten reviews, they're not even rotten.

yes

this

Snyder killed dc. It's over. Cancel WW and aquaman

Dckeks are so fucking confused now

Suicide Squad is a straight up marvel flick and deluded DCfucks will force themselves to love it

This.

Or to read 5 reviews in a row where the main complaints aren't to do with it not being Marvel.

It's clear that DC are making films for the comic nerds and not normies

>It's clear that DC are making films for the comic nerds and not normies

and that is going to change

we have already seen it in justice league

What did Jared mean by this?

This.

There is a rotten review at 2/4 wich says "some default prevent them for being the BETTER super heroes movies, meaning they are on par with other super heroes movies (who gets 60%+ on RT minimum)

Yet it was counted as rotten

I know it's changing, but if SS didn't review well and doesn't make bank, they'd be more likely to appeal to the fans.

You guys just don't get it, the audience is the suicide squad. WE ARE THE SUICIDE SQUAD, IT'S POETRY

>If you read some of the rotten reviews, they're not even rotten.
Some of the rotten reviews make me actually excited to still see it. For instance this one:

>For here we have a motion picture in which a new incarnation of the classic Batman villain the Joker – essayed by Jared Leto as a kind of Halloween-themed version of Rik Mayall’s Richie, from the Nineties BBC sitcom Bottom – slurpingly offers up a sexual encounter with his girlfriend-stroke-protégé Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) to a fellow career crook as a kind of underworld bargaining chip.

>Here is a comic-book adaptation in which Batman (Ben Affleck) himself – one of the most universally beloved superheroes ever created – hauls Harley from the Gotham River, gives her creepily insistent mouth-to-mouth, then immediately pins her down by the throat, erotic asphyxia-style, when she comes around.

>Here is a film in which model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne gives not only a personal worst performance, but something close to a former-profession-worst performance, as a gyrating, bikini-clad villainess called Enchantress, who kisses men full on the lips to turn them into her slaves (of course!) and talks like Vanessa Redgrave on rhinoceros tranquiliser.

It sounds like it has a good use of adult themes and a movie not made for children as I was hoping they wouldn't make it too much like Marvel.

Not a DC fanboy, I haven't seen a single DC film since TDK which I thought was trying too hard and in general I fucking hate capeshit be it from Marvel/Disney or DC.

But there is one thing I do agree with DC fanboys on is why in fuck critics ride the fucking dick Disney productions so much where fucking atrociously shit films like Thor get high RT scores. What the fuck? You also get it even in the academy awards where these ultra fucking generic Disney and Pixar films win literally every single fucking animation academy award every year over animated films that are easily 100x better than the shit Disney pumps out.

I just don't get why critics ride Disney's dick so hard? Honestly, while DC films look completely fucking shit, the Marvel films I've seen ARE completely fucking shit yet still seem to have high RT scores.

Who can sit through that cringy formulaic Joss Whedon quip dialogue of Marvel films and think "This is great, this is good writing", like what the fuck is wrong with these people? I don't think I've even seen a Marvel film where I couldn't predict exactly what was going to happen within the entire fucking movie in the first 15 minutes.

I shit on the United States.

I laughed at comic book pornogaphy. People are so easily triggered by anything.

I do not see what why SJW would be pissed over this film. Just look at the diversity:

The anti-authority overtones against a inner city backdrop which is smoldering is right out of today's headlines.

Basically Black Lives Matters set to film. I hope a sex tape leaks of Will Smith and Margo Robbie shot with the latest iphone.

>I just don't get why critics ride Disney's dick so hard?
Because Disney is like the biggest richest studio

I don't even care if this movie get's negative reviews, but it's crazy that almost every critique about this movie (the paper-thin plot, the lame characters, etc) could be applied to almost any Marvel movie yet they get critical praise for essentially not being completely garbage

Yeah when you realize the critic is criticizing not the story or the actual acting but the graphic mature content in the film... for fuck sake does every film have to be Marvel kiddy friendly?

>I do not see what why SJW would be pissed over this film.
For many reasons

>Batman gives Harley mouth to mouth then knocks her unconscious
>Joker tries to get Harley to bang some black guy as some bargain deal
>Enchantness seduces men, kissing them and making them be her slaves
Mature content like this is what gets the SJW's so angry.

The SJW's are ruining cinema also. Joker is meant to be so psychotic! Why would you cut out him killing people and slapping Harley? Jesus for fuck sake

>I do not see what why SJW would be pissed over this film
Me either but they are. I tried to tell someone who never even saw the movie that Harley has been literally created to be a sexy sidekick and she was screaming at me that I'm undermining the hypersexualization.

this

Because the mature content doesn't suit the tone of the majority of the movie.

If they wanted to have a mature gritty comic book movie then double down and do that, don't have it in a movie which is pg13.

so delusional lmao why would SJWs hate this? Black male and female leads?
it's fucking PG13 kiddo nothing in there to get triggered about

>If you're going to have mature themes then you have to oversaturate your movie with content that fits the "R" rating standards
>PG-13 flicks must now be candy coated as fuck
>People are actually this fucking retarded

What's wrong with sexualisation anyway?

I gather you didn't read reviews and on one hand you did good but then again you don't know that

>black male uses guns. Racist.
>Harley Quinn wears very short shorts. Too sexual.
>Women get punched. Misogyny.
>Harley hears voices. TRIGGERING because mental illnesses trivialization.
>Why are villains not heroic?

The list goes on.

>Because the mature content doesn't suit the tone of the majority of the movie.

That doesn't make any sense as criticism. It was always marketed, and has a tone of an edgy ( I mean it in a positive way), off-beat superhero movie, all of those "mature" moments are completely in line with how the film was marketed

>Joker is the key

What did he mean by that?

...

>Because the mature content doesn't suit the tone of the majority of the movie.
That's like saying Deadpool's R rating doesn't fit because the majority of the movie is a super hero flick... you are an idiot

Not necessarily the narrative of this movies production and marketing has changed since it began.

That's not what I am saying at all. The film being a super hero movie is irrelevant. The film contains moments of mature content then slips into a guardian of the galaxies tone.

It would be the equivalent of Rocket Raccoon selling off Groot as a prison bitch and then moving straight into the prison break scene.

>The film contains moments of mature content then slips into a guardian of the galaxies tone.

This kind of the description of an "offbeat" movie, something SS always appeared to be like. You had psychopats, some jokes all set against Bohemian Rapsody in the first trailer even.

Also, from what I've heard the movie isn't mature, edgy maybe, and that isn't the same thing

Seeing what reshoots has done for this film has me really excited for Rogue One. I always wanted to see A New Hope's opening scroll set to film wiht a multicultural and diverse cast.

It's not Disney is the richest studio, it's something they do subconsciously I think, they grade Capeshit by the STANDARDS of Marvels formula, so films that tend to not meet that formula, get absolutely shit on.

It's why Fox Capeshit gets shit on despite being Marvel, because they don't have that film by committee sleek that Disney films do.

>it's something they do subconsciously I think, they grade Capeshit by the STANDARDS of Marvels formula

This is true, plus there is a hivemind on social media, that critics are a part of too

I think there's some truth to your comment, but DP was pretty well-regarded.

I do think Marvel's stuff is, by and large, overrated but I think it's probably because Marvel's stuff is seen differently. They're episodes, not movies and reviews reflect that. If you read them, they're in the context of the MCU, not standalones.

DC has never got their Universe off the ground, not really. There is no frame of reference like Marvel shit.

THIS IS KATAAAAANAAAA

I will say that every time Disney does CGI in their films, they make it look absolutely amazing and 100% life like.

Does anyone have that CGI comparison image that was posted here month ago?

Antman is one of the best visual looking films I have ever seen (and this is coming from a DC fan who wishes the CGI in BvS looked more realistic). Even Wonder Woman was CGI in some parts of the fights and looked cartoony hmm
