So now that the dust has settled, it's not that bad is it?

So now that the dust has settled, it's not that bad is it?

It's very bad full stop.

its really not

Its still bad.

No, it's actually pretty bad

It's actually quite good

It's fairly bad

The hate is incredibly overblown.

it was the worst album by gorillaz but isn't an awful album

It's rather disjointed. A lot of the tracks could have been cut, but there are some good songs in there. Could have been great if they'd kept it down to a reasonable length.

it's not that bad but it's still disappointing

It's not ''bad'', just very disappointing, clearly not worth the long wait

I like this album but its time to stop the humanz threads now

It's surprisingly single minded and shallow for a Gorillaz release.

>Inb4 Gorillaz were always shallow

At least they tried in the 2000s.

But is it bad/not that bad tho

it only gets more disappointing after every listen. this album was a blatant cash grab and you all should accept that

It's not that bad. I just thought that it felt like one of their experimental albums. Damon tends to make projects where he compiles ideas that didn't work for previous albums into one big mess. Usually these albums tend to not work well together, but can bring in some nice tunes every once in a while...like D dayz or The Fall. And for a super hyped long awaited album that Humanz was I found it a bit unacceptable. If one thing is for sure is that this album proves once more the ability Damon has to collaborate with other artists and mix previously undiscovered genres. But for some reason, even after all this, there's something about this album that feels like it was designed by the collaborators and not by Damon himself and because of that It doesn't feel like it's a Gorrilaz album to me.

It's not like a disgrace to music or anything but it's a waste of time.

it's just very mediocre and not worth caring about

Much like Plastic Beach it gets better after listening to it a few times.

I'd prefer more 2D but it isn't a deal breaker.

Only songs I am not really a fan of are Carnival and Halfway house.

Going to their concert in July :3

why a bitch gotta lie
why a baby gotta cry
why a fish gotta swim
why a bird gotta fly
why a towel gotta dry
why a pig gotta fly
why a jew gotta fry

Its alright. I wouldn't put it above Plastic Beach or Demon Dayz because it isn't as interesting front to back (other albums are more diverse sonically, which is a pretty admirable characteristic of Gorillaz records) but its not bad and it keeps a solid theme.

it's literally a meme album that's been taylor made for reddit

I actually like it a lot, solid 8/10. Autists here overreact about everything
