i don't know where you came from, but you need to go back there
it's unfortunate, because there's a lot to like about it. initially the film comes off as sort of a criticism of the mentality that people who use violence to solve their problems are "cool" or in any way admirable, but it seems to buy into that idea too much at the end, even after David starts murdering everyone. the referential nature makes it come across as glib.
