Hot Recs:
cool ass production and ideas, jamonit
you know I dig it, shit, everyone loves you, see I love Grouper so you've got that going for you, and not trying to be too critical because I know repetition is kinda integral to ambient. And I like the way your guitar tone works overall.
Still, as is, this just feels like a really lazy improv jam session, something like where me and my buddies would get together, I'd play a riff all of us really liked, and we'd be all, "ooh, this is cool man" and we'd repeat it over and over and build on it with each other for ten minutes straight. This song consists of one riff and reverb and you made that into seven minutes, without any of the interesting background noises and deliberate tiny quirks of ambient music, but also without the build or emotional direction of post rock.
The biggest thing I'd say is definitely keep making music, but if it's going to be 7 minutes long, try to put more effort into it? I don't know a nice way to say it. Oh well.
Man, it's refreshing as hell to hear someone's rap on SC that sounds like they actually know how to record their vocals somewhat. Would like em at least a little lower in the mix, but hey, personal preference. Some cleverish lyrics in there too. Especially liked the fuck the [] section.
Would like to hear you on a beat someone else made, as is I know this is trap but it suffers from the kinda tedium a lot of trap does. Keep at it for sure tho
