no, i live in a first world country where automatic cars are widely available
OK I have to say no. Otherwise what's the point of this thread.
How's the process to get a license in Australia
yes, I can also drive an automatic :o

Yup.
Only tried an automatic once and it felt like going back to writing with crayons.
I am 3% dutch so I can only drive a bicycle with the manual transmission (click click)
Get your L (learner) plates and need to drive for 120 hours with your parents or teacher and then after getting those (and waiting 12 months I think) you can get your red P plates and can drive on your own and then after a year get your green P plate. Finally you get your full lisence
>and waiting 12 months
Holy shit, i thought that in Brazil the process to get a license was slow
Yes
Automatic sucks dick, especially older type of matic like 4AT.

Why do ask, are you considering moving or something
I'm actually taking driving classes at this month, if everything goes as i planned, in the next month i will have my license
No, just for curiosity
Don't think I'd even be able to drive auto, I'd keep going for the clutch and slamming on the breaks.
Have 4 vehicles, all manual.
Feels good.
aus

This is a good policy I think, at least having some practice in manual or knowing how manual functions.
it differs depending on state/territory
