Do you guys want me to repost my shares from the last thread? I was really into a few of them.
Sure thing friend.
Reposting stuff from the tail end of the last thread (seriously whats with the activity lately, is shugazi dying again?).
> Fragile Flowers - Psyche

Its pay what you want so you can dl it for free. It's actually pretty good IMO.

Couple of weak tracks but there's some really good stuff on this one too.

Here's something cool, some really dreamy quiet-core. Very echoey and atmospheric
speakinghorrors.bandcamp.com
these are good
Good shit, thanks for sharing
Listening to the French shoegaze band Future and their EP Abyss. It's pretty good lads
I mean, you say that but actually made it to the bump limit last thread! Be excited, man. Good times are coming.
shugazi usually kind of has like a thread that lasts until bump limit followed by a couple that get like 2 posts then die pretty regularly
not really a sign of anything, just how it is
Patio solar - Migracion (2017)
>jangle pop, dream pop
mega.nz
Good thread, friends. Thanks for all the shares.
Fair.
See you in the next thread, user.
Recc me some jangle pop albums with a shoegaze twist.
Well shit, was gonna post a single off of Beach Fossil's new album that features Rachel Goswell but now I can't find it on youtube anymore
anyone have it by chance? It's "Tangerine"
work in progress
some are more /shugazi/ than others
finished but if there's anything else I should add lmk
edit: fuck
Anyone got a link to the new Heretoir? Can't connect to soulseek
Thank you sooo much. When you posted it I spent a good fifteen minutes looking for it.
jamming this lately glaretx.bandcamp.com
Does anyone have a link for Ride - Weather Diaries?
did it leak?
2017 poll's still up and running
rkursem.com
I've really been vibing to these thus far
is it true mazzy star's drummer died?
I only know slowdive and planning for burial on there, literally who are these other literal whos?
what does shugazi think of youtube.com
You've never heard Spectres?
I don't see the appeal in them..
lame
I know right, their music isn't memorable in the slightest.
Neither is the new Slowdive album.
delet this
>"I'm a child, please spoonfeed me wahh"
But actually
Their new album was definitely better than Dying
HOLY
SHIT
Slowdive, Ambersmoke and Planning for Burial have been my favourite so far. I wasn't that keen on Kairon/IRSE!, Heretoir or Tangible Rays
>literal whos
REEEEEEEEEE
>Archivist - Construct, cruyff in the bedroom - HATE ME, Heretoir - The Circle
>No Sun - If Only, Planning For Burial - Below The House, Shelling - Waiting For Mint Shower!!
>Slowdive - Slowdive, Spectres - Condition, Violet Cold - Anomie
I still have to listen to new Ambersmoke, I've heard rumours they've gone neo-folksy on this one?
how is the new cruyff?
thanks anons
kek
you guys are crazy dying was great
I dunno mate, its the first time I've heard of ambersmoke. I don't listen to neo-folk either so I can't tell you about that
No problem, glad I could help friend.
Does anyone know any noise pop in the same vein as Xiu Xiu?
It's my favorite thing of theirs desu
Shouldn't we wait until the end of the year to do a whole list vote?
You can add shit and change answers whenever so there's no harm in doing an ongoing thing
...
thanks for those sweet trips bruh
Props for having House of Love on there
I'd say Chapterhouse flirt more with the alt-dance Madchester shit than straight up jangle pop, although some of the guitar tones admittedly can give that indication
Also definitely add
>Biff Bang Pow! - The Girl Who Runs The Beat Hotel
Alan McGee's band, the dude who ran Creation back in its heyday, lots of twee/neo-psych/jangly goodness
youtube.com
>Moscow Olympics - Cut The World
These guys are regular /shugazi/ fodder but they definitely fit the bill
youtube.com
I never post but these threads are the fucking best always so many recs. Found my current favorite album off of one of these. Astronoid - Air.
It's "dream-thrash" (lol) but I love it. Anything similar that's not just blackgaze?
That's a tough one user.
Well I guess you can try Rosetta. If you can bear their hardcore-ish vocals.
youtube.com
Devin Townsend, but they're more spacey-progressive than shoegaze.
youtube.com
>Kairon/IRSE!
In all fairness, Ruination isn't shoegaze.
I still personally liked it.
Anyone here have a decent physical collection going?
I realise it's probably one of the toughest genres to buy records of without breaking the bank but was just curious as to if anyone was sitting on any holy grails
>pic related
It's all I've managed to snag on vinyl
Nowhere and Whirlpool are both original issues, the rest of the 90s releases are reissues
Not pictured is a massive stack of CDs
Also have the original blue issue of Écailles de lune somewhere in the post
Anyone have a link to the new Weed album?
It's on slsk
youtube.com
anyone else preorder the album?
how much did you pay for Whirlpool and Nowhere?
This is my collection so far, pretty standard stuff.
Nowhere was 30 quid and ended up being in ridiculously good shape, both the sleeve and record are easily VG+/NM–
Whirlpool was £22 I think, the sleeve is decently beat up but it plays fine
Was that copy of Spooky a reissue?
Oh nice! It's the 1992 lithuania zona records edition. All the LP versions are from 1992, there are no recent reissues I think. I got it for cheap and in VG+ condition from discogs.
Damn, nice snag
Which issue of Écailles de lune is that?
yea I added chapterhouse mostly for breather
I'll add the other two when I get home in like 4-5 hours so hopefully the thread doesn't kapoot by then
New Pains of Being Pure at Heart album July 14th
Didn't really like Days of Abandon but the single sounds alright
soundcloud.com
the magenta red one from 2016 ;_;. I bought it at the Alcest show, I wanted to get Kodama but it was sold out.
Clarence Clarity
...
Will this be the first Vaporgaze album?
You're correct.
Actually have no idea what they're going for with that art
Might be like Reflektor or Ducktails' last album where there's no real correlation
But that's clearly Exploding Head
Also has anyone managed to catch APTBS on their Black Angels tour?
Caught them in Nashville and they were fucking great
Ocean was goddamn killer live
Updated with moscow olympics and biff bang pow and also the vaselines because they're noisy enough: now in chronological order!
I'm willing to axe chapterhouse in favor of something janglier
Bumping for the poll
someone posted this in the last thread and i liked it. any recs?
