Fuck off pitchfork drone numale

The new Gorillaz album was shit

Learn to accept opinions. Pitchfork IS right sometimes. Though I was not a fan of the Gorillaz album either.

Got to be pic related for me

>Learn to accept opinions
I have my own opinions too faggot

...

Learn to kindly share your opinions rather than only disparaging others' then

You have no opinion you just listen to whatever pitchfork shoves down your throat

Whenever I look for 2017 releases I get flooded with shitty bandcamp projects and this pitchfork nonsense. Where do you find good new music?

The fuck are you on about? I made no mention of OP's opinion. I simply stated that the Gorillaz album was shit. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bedwetter - Volume 1: Flick Your Tongue Against Your Teeth and Describe the Present.

Drake - More Life

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

Gas - Narkopop

Animal Collective - Meeting of the Waters

What do you listen to? Since you're so patrician apparently.

The Gorillaz album is basically just Summer Jam 2017: Bangers edition.

It's dope af.

What, me too? Who isn't a Picthfork drone? Because I've been deliberately avoiding reviews of new albums until I've made my own decision. Idk what p4k rated async but if they gave it the BNM treatment, good for them!

meh

cool

this was a lovely album, the part with the monologue about experiencing memories for a limited number of times was the highlight

it has to be jlin's album for me. She transcended footwork again

I look at various blogs & discogs

Thought you were the other guy I linked in my first comment.

What a retarded response.

>good album
>2017
ha
well i geuss there's this

So far...

Wait did Black Origami get leaked? Been dying to hear the whole thing.

aesthetic: the chart

It was literally an advert for other artists. I wanted a Gorillaz album. Not fucking Popcaan and whoever else was on it.

What blogs, if you're willing to share? I don't know any good ones =/

What did you expect from a pitchfork drone?

OP here. Pitchfork hasn't had any critical credibility since 2012.

I don't follow any "professional" review sites.

nodata.tv is great for new and under the radar releases

its on npr's first listen thing

this is good

streaming rn

dubtechnoblog, nodata, tinymixtape's chocolate grinder, ridethetempo, heavyblogisheavy, stuff along those lines

Still leaning towards Forget but shizune is awesome as hell too

cheers friend-o's!

See that's the thing: i didn't. I've neved liked a Gorillaz album until that one. All the previous songs on Gorillaz albums that i liked were the singles.

Humanz succeeds because literally every song could be a single.

Really only the top 10 I loved
The rest range from enjoyable to just okay
>seiko oomori
ayyy

outside of the first track, that realestate project is not good famalam

This is on P4K's best new albums, and it's fucking sick

I think pitchfork has some good writers in the mix still. just don't pay attention to it or it's scores as some sort of unified voice and pay more attention to the individual writer byline and I think you can still get some value out of it.

I've given up on p4k completely pretty much recently, but I never kept track of who was writing what. Which would you say are the best writers they've still got doing work there?

>releases 13 hours of music in less than a year to critical acclaim and doesn't make the lists

phillip sherbourne and marc masters are cool, it seems like they've gotten a lot of new names lately. I think thea ballard and colin joyce has gotten on cool stuff tho maybe the writing has been lacking in insight

Homeshake and Jonwayne need to be replaced

still need to listen to
Xiu Xiu
Chino Amobi
Bing & Ruth
Basinski
Mono No Aware
Forest Swords
Slowdive
Jlin
Playboi Carti
Gas
Blanck Mass

really liked the blanck mass. the mono tape is pretty good too.
