You buy a steakplant or a seed to grow it yourself. Give it water and lots of sunshine. When about one pound big, you harvest it and keep it in the dark to prevent aftergrowing. When hungry, cook it like you would T-bonesteak. Yumm!

Actually you want it as rare as possible. Any harmful bacteria only lives on the surface of beef cuts. Cooking it denatures the proteins.

All I know was I bought it from Costco, I BBQ'd it with mixture of soya sauce and worcestershire sauce, and some salt and pepper.

There are many ways to prepare a steak. My favorite way is to run the whole thing with a mix of kosher salt, pepper corn blend and mesquite seasoning then put it into my George Foreman lean meme meat grilling machine tills it's around medium or medium rare. I'll also throw some onions, garlic, mushrooms and broccoli in there.

Put it in the oven for 6 hrs at 450, serve with a healthy serving of Ketchup

Put room temperature steak in a cast iron frypan.

Place in 450F oven for a few minutes (6 TO 8 or so) and then either grill or pan finish on top of the stove.

Doing it this way ensures the inside is also hot, and you still get the sear flavour on the outside.

3) The direction in which I cut and the sharpness of my knife has absolute zero impact on how it tastes. Anything you believe differently is all in your head, dear.

3a) Don't use a paper plate - it soaks up the meat juice, which, unless that is your form of roughage, is something you are losing out on.
4) You should fix that tine on that fork.
5) That steak knife needs sharpening. It shouldn't tear the meat like that.

I have no complaints about the doneness. That looks good. I might have used a ribeye, but strip loin is good too.

I actually prefer somewhere in between Medium and Medium-Rare. If/when I order steak at a restaurant, I'll generally ask for Medium, since they tend to undercook slightly and it usually comes out just how I like.

I personally prefer medium rare to medium-rare (but honestly, if you put a well-done steak in front of me that was seasoned properly, I'll still eat and enjoy it; I'm literally not a whiny faggot when it comes to consuming fucking cow flesh... it's not that big a deal, and only fags that at like they're impressing Anthony Bourdain on a first date freak out about it).

sous vide is the "best" way to prepare it. But I definitely prefer to rub some cracked salt and pepper into the meat and cook it over an open flame. after it cooks our some butter over it and let it sit for 5 mins. after that dig in and enjoy

The only reason I care is that I find that it seems to leak that precious meat juice more. That is anecdotal, but it seems like that to me.

We have extremely high standards when it comes to our meat. Even those shit stores have to have A to AAA meats. What passes for quality in the US for meat wouldn't even make A grade in Canada. It's also the reason our meats are so much more fucking expensive than the US.
