I normally take a cold shower or do some exercises to keep myself awake when I'm working late nights. Granted, I don't know if you're talking about staying up all night for work, or just for the fuck of it.
nah fapping makes me too relaxed and on the verge of falling asleep
couldnt fall asleep after roomate woke me up after hour of sleep, if i sleep now ill miss class, or not have enough time to finish hw, so i might as well stay up do hw and actually be prepared for class

Depending on the situation, just stay up playing video games or browse the internet. any bright light, especially blue light, keeps your body from making sleep hormones.
At some point your body adjusts to the idea that you're going to skip the night and you'll be over your sleep. If you have a normal sleep schedule it should be at 4-5 in the morning.
