In every one of those "Things normies say about music that drive you crazy" threads, someone inevitably says "I listen to everything but country and metal."
Well there's plenty of metal discussion on Sup Forums, but what is the best country out there? I've personally never listened to country voluntarily so whatever you mention will probably be something I've never heard of.
depends on the era. youtube.com/watch?v=QIi4cAK1vik the old stuff is great. you can fine great modern stuff. but just like anything. not talked much in the mainstream

Anything by Townes is great. Contender for greatest live album.

Pic Related is unknown greatness.
Uncle Tupelo March 1992 is 10/10. Magnolia Electric Co Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker and Cold Roses are GOAT.
Camden Moore
Never heard of Cotton Teeth, but love the others. Will check out.
Brayden Kelly
I like Cash but not only him -- Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, all the old stars, plus 70s and 80s stuff like Townes Van Zandt and Emmylou Harris. I even like some newer more "bro" stuff too (Copperhead Road and Friends in Low Places, vapipd pop shit like that) but maybe it's just because I grew up with it since it's pretty bad and those artists have nothing to do with the original country sound.
I love bluegrass too. Just seems strange that I'm having trouble with one genre in particular.

Slim Cessna's Auto Club is pretty fuckin patrician. Dude who posted Denver Gentlemen would agree to that, probably.
