How hard are the fluffies' hooves supposed to be? They are describe as completely soft and harmless, but the fact that they break bones and skin -instead of turning the foals into mulch- seem to indicate some hardness to them...

They are meant to be soft since flufifes are meant mostly for children. So they must be soft so that they can't cause harm. Their hooves only work against other fluffies, especially foals because they do have fragile bodies.
