I like it! It's sorta crude as you'd expect with the tool you're using, but your sense of shading and color shows some promise. Especially with how you lit the lower leaves on the tree.
Thanks! I used to do cel shading back in HS, but never really did any other drawn work since then.

Not much can be done about rejection. It's a part of life. You need to make sure you are learning something from every encounter. Like, thats needs to be thought about actively "what did I just learn". The more you become okay with yourself w/o the needed approval of others the more secure you become and the less likely rejection will hurt so bad (it will still hurt though, just less).
