Let's step up this shit game

Let's step up this shit game.
>Be clear
>No computational aid

what the fuxk you want nigga=
i'm drunk

did you not tex this shit properly or what? fucking backslashes and curly braces and shit

i don't get it, what are you trying to do exactly

d/dx(x^x) = d/dx(e^xlnx) = (lnx + 1)x^x

did i win

No, it's all itended

intentionally fucked up on Sup Forums ??????????

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE

Easy....

d/dx (x^x) = x^x *(log (x)+1)

Because of math n shit.

Cheers
Mathfag

The derivative of x^x where x is an element of all positive real numbers over the null set? It's fucking nothing.

do you not understand basic set theory

WHat is this

Hey op you're gonna love this. What you're seeing right now is my normal form.

This is a complex, or lateral number.

You're not gonna pull it off.

:0

And this is a value that's transcended the meaning of value. I call it an infinite sum.

AND THIS! IS TO GO! EVEN FURTHER BEYOND!

Boy do I feel like an idiot looking at this shil, Maths is hard.

yo for real convince me why complex/imaginary numbers are useful

i'm ignorant

Sorry to keep you waiting...

this is fucking amazing

Where can I find a complete definition of the axioms in number theory?

...

Anything involving physics

I know the ones for a field and such from memory but I don't know any decent literature for number theory tho

I guess so, no one gave a better explanation so far...

Hey, physics student here.

Imaginary numbers pop out of the maths when modelling simple harmonic motion. Without them, you can't model AC electricity, pendulums, etc. accurately. For example, in AC theory as resistors have a real resistance, capacitors and inductors have something called reactance which is an imaginary value.

Couldn't say it any better

something I want to add to this actually

The fact that they're imaginary is significant because use you can't just add reactance and resistance in a complex circuit to get the full impedance. You need to add the squares of them together and get the square root, like you would a hypotenuse.

Thanks senpais

But why is it different from cartesian plane?

i fucking hate math
sucks because im studying computer science
gonna fail this year and drop out
shitpost on Sup Forums all day instead

The complex numbers kinda gave birth to it

Cuck

Is it "niggers"?

/someone else
it really isn't
imaginary is just a made up dimension which makes physical changes more "understandable"
think of making a chart of the size of your dumps and thier frequency - different dimensions, but if you felt like it you COULD create a chart
it gives you a good overview of the situation
/aspiring electrics, informatics engineer

no it's jews, you got close tho

That is not a proper mathematical statement (i.e. it cannot be evaluated as neither true or false). Ergo you are a retard.

Bitch - do you know Descartes?
He just made up modern scientific methods AND fucked a lot of bitches while you weren't even a naughty thought in your grandpas ballsack.
He's actually a pretty cool guy.

I know, he was one of the guys that were working with complex numbers in the beginning. Right after Bombelli gave a decent interpretation for sqrt(-1). I'll look for the literature here

Here, look for "La Geometrie", 1637 by him

Gonna drop a thread question of complex numbahs real soon btw

a thread about complex numbers?
just ask me faggot
