Post best TV Show Songs

Yeah. Don't watch anime often, but I heard the soundtrack and said: Well, there's no way it can have a stellar soundtrack and be shitty, that's just impossible.

I also tended to avoid the giant robot genre, which I think helped, since it's not overdone for me.

It's easy for anime to have good songs when it's joined at the hip with the music industry, selling music is part of the business model and being able to sing is practically a job requirement for voice actors.

There are really too many examples from the Star Wars prequels alone. The only thing about those movies that people consistently praise is the soundtrack. Check out "Duel of the Fates", "Across the Stars", or "Battle of the Heroes", all by John Williams.

Good music goes hand in hand with good storytelling because they each strengthen the other, like symbiosis.

Particularly the 3rd one - perhaps the best soundtrack of the lot, but the movie is crap

Why would I watch a remake when they just keep making it worse as they go on?

They did a good show, and had a great ending. Then they redid the ending, and made it worse. So they decided to redo the whole thing, I guess?

Probably just steals the soundtrack anyway. It doesn't count if it's a sequel or remake, like in Indiana Jones 4.

The movies have a lot of stuff rerecorded and reworked from the TV show and EoE, but there is also a lot of new stuff done to fit the more cinematic style of the Rebuilds.

Most of the new stuff is quite operatic.
