How come we are watching this team have the greatest season of all time and nobody is talking about it?

how come we are watching this team have the greatest season of all time and nobody is talking about it?

This isn't that good of a Bama team though

u wot m8

look i understand it's just one metric but how else are you going to measure it?

Shit rankings desu

>Last year's Alabama team was the third best team of all time
>0regon on that list

>six teams without undefeated seasons
>no 2001 miami
i didnt know this was a ylyl thread

Because Western Michigan is having a better one

Is there a bigger system baby program in the NCAA?

>MAC
>JV football
pick both

Bama being dominate is expected now. It's fucking boring

0 wins against top 10 teams.

#2 Ohio State has 3
#5 Michigan has 3
#7 Penn St. has 1

Nobody else in the top 10 has a single one. The story of the year is the B1G.

but they play in the SEC. That's basically top 10 teams every year.

because they aren't even the best bama team

get outta here espn

the entire SEC outside of Bama and maybe Auburn is shit.

>inb4 b-but Florida is rank 15!

>they hate us cuz they aint us
get back to me when most of your conference gets top 15 recruiting classes and majority OOC wins

we will see in the playoffs.

there are two B1C teams that could stop 'bama and only one of them will be in the playoffs unless a miracle happens and Michigan gets in.

tOSU and UM are simply better.

>muh recruiting

every time

Bro Michigan would get blasted by Bama. Michigan is overrated garbage. They played 8 home games and haven't looked that great in recent weeks.

>playing Jacksonville State, Chatanooga, and other FCS teams OOC
>look at """""""our"""""""" OOC record
You should be disgusted

>implying ELO is worth a shit
>no 1971 Nebraska team in the top 10
yeah your little graphic is worthless. Alabama is gonna end up playing like 4 ranked teams by the end of the year, not very impressive...

does anyone know the last time bama failed to cover the spread?

like I said, it's just one way of measuring. find me another unbiased way of coming up with a ranking of the top teams of all time. what's the flaw with this alabama team anyways? their schedule? if they win the national championship that gives them two wins over the top 4 plus wins over currently ranked 11, 14, 15, 21, 22. all of them convincing blowouts by the way. oh and they have to play more games than teams of years past.

ELO is ideal for something like chess. Less ideal for something with a changing roster, like pro major sports. Even more stupid when no one on the roster can stay for more than 4 years.

Because they're boring

>11, 14, 15, 21, 22
and how many of those teams are good? none, not one.

OU has the #1 ELO up until Clemson beat them decisively last year

Last week v auburn. It opened at 18 and closed at 19 and they won by18. In sure somewhere you might've been able to sneak in at 17.5 but they didn't cover anything above that

>only good win is against USC
>going to get blown the fuck out by Ohio State

Gee I wonder why

This. SEC is garbage this year.

OSU have 3 wins against top 10 teams. That's more impressive than what Alabama have done this year (so far).

Don't worry guys, this is why they have a playoff now. So you do t have to dick measure strength of schedule so much,

Take Bama out of SEC and SEC is only the 3rd best conference on average in the last ten years.

And who's the best?
You know who it is.

In fact, due to the academic requirements Alabama could never be a B1G school.

Please return to your regularly scheduled ES_SEC_PN programming.

lol this is one of the worst bama teams in a decade

when they actually play a decent team, they will be exposed

"Leave bama to me"
