ITT: post a personal 10/10 and others tell you why its bad
...
it sounds like reddit
...
Doug's voice
as much as i love it (and this album entirely), I Would Hurt A Fly is genuinely one of the cringiest names for a song ever
This ought to be good
...
Because Blond sucked.
...
Honestly I'd love to hear why anyone could think this is good...
no song on it is better than carry the zero
what is velvet waltz
you said personal...
...
good but not perfect like carry the zero
*deletes washer*
...
it's a meme
pleb detected, it clearly adds so much to the album
Its just twangy country saturated in reverb
what a pretentious cover
...
A few of the tracks start to drag
That's about the worst I can say though I love that album
Title track and Time To Get Away are garbage
Also not nearly as original as a lot of people give it credit for
Because the first Half of Diamond Mine sucks and Some Grace's guitars sound like shit on an album that already has poor production. The aca pella part was pretty good though. The rest of the album is pretty good though desu
...
It's just meh for everyone outside of North America.
Your band is just shitty noise rock and Bozeman is their only worthwhile release
And You And I is too repetitive
California
The first track is worse than anything on The Second Law
Watch the Tapes is a bad Talking Heads imitation.
It's the same song 6 times at slightly different volumes.
It's not Teens of Denial
...
I actually love Diamond Mine, if anything I think No Good Al Joad is the one that really takes a while to get going
I definitely respect your opinion though and also Some Grace's guitars literally sound like they came from a Macbook mic wtf
>No Good Al Joad
Forgot about that one. That one sucks too.
good luck
...
>le meme rap jap crap
I've become convinced this album is a good way to spot people with no attention span who just want lyrics they can spam on Sup Forums. I've yet to see anyone on this board give an actual critique, which shouldn't be that hard.
...
objectively a 10
Yeah there's nothing bad about this album, so...
See
The New is the only good song in it
>Say Hello to the Angels lyrics
One of my favorite albums anyway.
The stretch from Untitled to Say Hello To The Angels is perfect and one of the best five-song stretches in history but the album loses a lot of steam right afterwards
Absolutely brilliant songwriting with near-zero originality. Everything about their sound is cribbed from better groups, mostly The Chameleons
Also Banks is a weak lyricist
I still listen to it more than most 80's post-punk albums though desu
>oi am the fly
This album has some duds on it.
...
just try, nerds
...
do you not like records with great songwriting and interesting production?
There is nothing wrong with these records. You get a pass, anons. Good job
*yawns*
no
Bad vocals
...
AND YOU BETTER NOT BE ANGRY
AND YOU BETTER NOT BE SAD
The lack of Twin Peaks samples is saddening.
The singer of that band sounds like fucking Spyro The Dragon
>nothing wrong with Turn on the Bright Lights
pleb
Name one (1) flaw
Naturally almost all of these are at least decent, but arguing why something isn't a ten isn't as fun as arguing why something is just bad.
>tfw few people outside Ecuador know about this masterpiece
Kek
I like Doge's voice but this made me laugh
YOU BETTER JUST ENJOY
THE LUXURY OF SYMPATHY
IF THAT'S A LUXURY YOU HAVE
The stock wind sound track that intros the album made me want to fucking SCREAM, I've heard that sound in every movie imaginable.
Other than that no complaints.
Sell-outs who try too early in their careers to make a new sound. Should've stuck with the neo-psych of Innerspeakers.
Not bad, but made way too late, especially since what Mike Love did to the group, and Brian's absence, in the 80's caused too much damage to the group dynamics.
...
Good luck Sup Forums
love this album, personal favorite of the beach boys stuff.
just try me nerds
it's not the glasgosw school
pales in comparison to influences
about a third of it is just poor man's talking heads
its not blonde
doug's vocal range sux and so does his delivery
...
good fucking luck
>long distance drunk
best song is a bonus track (you know the one)
What is kicked it in the sun?
*poop splashes in water*
...
In A Nutshell isn't a bonus track, user...
...
0 wrong with these
I over-listened :(
Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City is streets ahead of this album, yet the fanbase act like its humanity's greatest accomplishment since landing on the moon.
it sounds like shit most of the time
...
Ok Pierce
But it isn't Today's Active Lifestyles.
...too long
issac's voice is weirdly grating on this one
i think it's the production
>by king crimson
jk, i hate the album cover though
king of boring
dissonant ugly incoherent guitars and melody
Not really original but still is the most perfect and blissfull album for me along with Siamese Dream
This desu
...
I think that's supposed to be the appeal.
It feels like a rehash of the style of their 70s output, except they're much older and aren't as good at what they're doing. It feels like a cash grab for the 50th anniversary... Which I suppose it is? It's not awful, of course, but it's certainly not something to write home about.
overblown, quirky, limp, melodramatic, decemberists on xanax on broadway. disney folk
...
...
...
...
half of the tracks are musical interludes that add very little to the album except length.
>personal
fucking with my brain on The Red Telephone
If those interludes hasn't been listed separately, would you have an issue?
...
Nigga, the second half of that album is just filler. It's mindless.
Only reason anyone even talked about this album was the fact Bowie died. Its a fucking joke this was his last album and all these faggy 'journalists' are trying to make the album deeper than it actually is.
you really sound like a 15 year old when you say faggy and the N word
nigger
you really sound like you enjoyed bowie's shittiest album.
