Dude, in Cowboy Bebop the actual plot is practically filler.
But it's a perfect starter anime for someone who's never watched. It has a pretty relaxed atmosphere, but good action and comedy, and the dubbing is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend, it is the anime by which I measure all other anime.
