They seem to die faster nowadays

Physical World vs. Woman Machine?

i dig it

never listened to anything on this

...

Because no one's interested in contributing. They only want their chart rated and thats it.

+++ATLiens. Best outkast album imo

Why cant emo bands make a good album after their first? The second dowsing album is fucking terrrriiibbblleee. The second mineral album is meh. So is the second sunny day real estate record. And Empire! Empire! too. Why?

whats eevee like
the pokemon eevee is nice

whoops forgot my chart

>whats eevee like
honestly i have no clue how that got there

the grunge/indie stuff mixed with the soundcloud rap is really making me cringe lol. ski mask is pretty cool though.
is your chart even real
i cant stand that lsd album anymore but sunbather is always a jam
infinity crush is dope

ratings are kind of the most boring aspect of these threads though desu. Discussion is supposed to be the goal

do you like Joan Baez?
also that Betty Who album made me think for half a second that you'd listened to Revolutionary Pekinese Opera lol

maybe's it's our fault. discord killed the collage threads?

you caught it? ;^)

Kingpin Skinny Pimp - King of da Playaz Ball

Alan Licht - A New York Minute

Physical World has some of their best songs but almost all of it is filler shit. They even said so themselves that they only made the album because everybody kept asking for it. So there's very little effort put into making songs that could stand up against their debut.

ichiko aoba is sweet. check out kim jung mi-now (if you havent already)

yes its real

i think i listened to her once but i dont remember
i will try her so thanks for the rec

i like this one most of any posted so far

youtu.be/0xKnmTj3v7E
youtu.be/2Qci5We_icg

:)

The Axis of Perdition - Urfe

hey there :) how are you, :)

>the grunge/indie stuff mixed with the soundcloud rap is really making me cringe lol

Meh, the grunge stuff is recent because it's all I listened to as a kid and I've been feeling sad and nostalgic. Soundcloud rap is because I have a short attention span.

>ski mask is pretty cool though.
I'm glad someone else appreciates him.

that 0% live album has become one of my favourite things ever. it's so otherworldly and intimate
thanks for the rec btw!

If you like side B of Low, check Pavilion of Dreams
The Sound
How much do you like 'idealism' and 'bsd.u'?
Fleeting Joys - Despondent Transponder
I like Carly Rae xD
Have you heard the japanese band Lamp?
Fat Jon
>Standards In Silhouette
Trying to find this anywhere, seems like good shit
What albums would rec me out of your chart?
Check Murray - Octet plays Trane

kinda shit im going to get a haircut though and play bayonetta and download a bunch of new kpop it will be an adventure
then it's work in the morning

gain vs triple h GO
steve swallows
haha
youtube.com/watch?v=q26LR5SJ2jU

what kind of haircut
where do these huge amounts of new kpop being produced even come from
don't say korea

it was pretty easy to find on slsk, that's where I got it from. it's pretty great
From my chart I'd definitely rec you that 1973 Nemo s/t album, based on the jazz rock and funk stuff you've got.
thanks 4 rec

omo...

fucc how i love the rapture
i'm gonna listen to undertow, i don't know why but that cover is hypnotizing

understandable, surprised theres no soundgarden in there though lol

no matter who wins... we all lose

the regular kind where my hair is too long for the professional sphere for whatever reason so I'll have someone cut it all off so i look nice for THE MAN

i just go to k2nblog and download everything from a name I recognize or with a cover/genre tags that look interesting desu

>wanting to look nice for a man
that's bretty gay fampai
there's shit tons of unknown kpop out there damn

everyone's tryna get a piece of the pie

"am I kawaii? nuguu~"

just listened to Pornography for the first time a couple days ago, its a wild feeling to find albums like that where the sound is instantly recognizable as having bleed through the work of more contemporary bands that I like. Seeing your grid makes me want to finally try and listen through an entire Big Black record
also relevant to first bit of ^... feeling bad that I didn't listen to more of the Cure before.

dig your taste, cept for the com truise and Avalanches. I can't listen to either without getting struck with boredness. Wish it wasn't like that since early com truise influenced me to explore early synthesizer records (synthpop etc.), and the Avalanches seem to retain a desirable level of formal ability in terms of plunderphonics
Big ups for the mix of gee-tar muzak and more 808-y hip hop, I don't encounter a lot of people that can reconcile such distinct musical tastes. also, ALLA was a shit record, the mixing/mastering makes it horrendous to listen to

I would not enjoy your company lol how the fuck do you listen to such awful

not enough love for 21 savage on this board/in general-- One Foot is his best song, look it up if you haven't heard. Also big ups for Wavves, pumped to hear their new record

I wish I knew what most of those records were, looks like you have some good taste. makes me want to listen to more jazz oldies

What does it mean if I love Pavement but hate metal??? Nothing anything??

Outkast is +++, trying to decide if I go through and practice internalizing the lyrics of Aquemini or ATLiens first... thoughts of which one has the easier flows to memorize?

your taste confuses me

>I would not enjoy your company lol how the fuck do you listen to such awful
fuck off mudrone
>Outkast is +++, trying to decide if I go through and practice internalizing the lyrics of Aquemini or ATLiens first... thoughts of which one has the easier flows to memorize?
outkast isn't good

no wonder, a weeb with bad taste. Outkast makes art that will stand the test of time, unlike your vulgar asian candy pop

give gf please

Outkast are great ya dingus

why not take 2 minutes and respond to some of the others in the thread, your tastes are not at all dissimilar from other grids already posted

fuck off mudrone
I thought I was going to like it but idk I prefer funkier hip hop

havent seen any collages that werent pleb desu why bother responding?

you are literally retarded if you listened to outkast and thought "hmm, this does not sound funky to me"

not sure how far you go into jazz but might like "The Epic" by Kimasi Washington. Awesome space jazz along lines of you're dead and thundercat

i have it downloaded but i just need the right time for it considering its so long

>mad because I don't like mucore
fuck off mudrone

yeah definitely needs a time and place but pretty amazing and he is all over the place these days. I broke it into a few parts

i never know what to say

...

the entire genre of southern hip hop would not exist without Outkast and the dungeon family. you are a retard to dismiss it as an album hyped only by an internet music board.

do u guys like Outkast or BTS more???

does Amanda Palmer perform the Radiohead songs on a ukelele or is that just an album art thing
*gives bf*
PUNK'D
nice Rav

assuming you've already heard Kill Bill's Ramona?

if not, reccin' it

if someone seems like they listen to a lot of one genre or artist you're interestedin, I typically ask. I occasionally get a good rec from that interaction

if I had dismissed it I wouldn't have listened to it
I don't like a popular album that is considered fashionable
deal with it mudrone

A short album about love is greato
have you ever listened to carla bley

not yet but she's been on my to-listen list for a long time

I believe you may have recced me that long album of hers once

still intimidated by its length but will take on it one day

yeah its the first album of his i listened to and i adore it

sweet

I really gotta check out more stuff from that collective desu

Did you listen to ATLiens? It's the superior album.

i'm a kpop nerd but BTS
oh shit Million Dead
nice nice
*gives a gf*
there you go
now you owe me your SOUL
so what's the best Liars album and why is it They Threw Us All in a Trench
acre more like ace
because he's the fucking ACE
that Sigur Rós album looks really nice next to the Mount Eerie one
also i have the photo album of the SR album and there are NAKED PEOPLE in it
NAKED PEOPLE RUFUS
NAKED PEOPLE
boy i gotta listen to Marcoeur again
i forgot about him entirely

dunno any of this
+dan brown, the grips
my mental illness is my gf
really into Rocket
tfw alex g is top last fm artist
wavves album is a classic

no only aquemini
and desu while I didn't like it, I didn't "dislike it" either
I'll try that other one

both are good, prefer sohee
haven't really heard that many new kpop releases lately desu

>I would not enjoy your company lol how the fuck do you listen to such awful
sorry

i haven't, name sounds familiar

i like my hair long but i have to get a job
i dont wanna cut it they cant make me

>the amanda palmer question
she actually does, it's less emotionally painful than the actual radiohead songs but not by a long shot.

I've listened through liars discog and the only ones I've felt drawn back to are WIXIW and Mess. But I will continue to listen to other stuff when I find the time--- certainly one of those bands I need to have grow on me

yeah literally listened to Rocket within the past couple of hours, first time listening to Alex G.
really really enjoyed it

oh wow i haven't even thought of Self Defense Family in years. they're the only one in this chart i've heard of so i can't rec but i'll guess that you're eating a turkey sandwich and you have an energy drink once a month

Listening to Signal for the first time right now- i think it's a rare case of the single being the worst track lmao
also nice Unwound
also I haven't listened to Black Boned Angel in yeeears, i felt really edgy listening to that in high school lol, i wonder if i'd like it now

I rec The Reptilian - End Paths (post-hardcore) and idk what k-pop to rec because i'm sure you know everything i do lol. i hope you're following Loona

>infinity crush is dope
Just discovered her two days ago but it's pretty good.

that new Alex G is the bee's tits
+Polvo
Any good emo in here aside from the ones i recognize? (old grey, hotelier, algernon)
+Tim Hecker, FF, Grips, Pet Sounds
has taken up running as a hobby recently
rec
youtube.com/watch?v=WN4z48r5axw
good stuff. whole chart good stuff

Haven't listened to anything on here, rec me something
fully expected Plagal Grind to be experimental grindcore, am a little disappointed but will still check them out anyways
Sung Tongs is so underrated
pretty nice taste
wish I had something to rec you but i'm horrible at reccing
How do you feel about Jamiroquai?
Fuck there's so much stuff on here I need to get around to listening to. If I were to listen to one metal album on here, (Besides Heart of the Woods, already listened) which one should I listen to
damn I haven't listened to KMFDM in a while. They have so much shit and it all sounds kind of samey. Is WWIII worth listening to? Also I fucking love Front 242, Front by Front is definitely top 5 industrial albums imo

cool guy... you have a beard
sensitive person
listen to uhh dj screw - all screwed up

I've been hearing the whole Gorillaz's discography so don't ask why the fall
Also rec. pls

>Is WWIII worth listening to?
It's alright. It's like you said, a lot of it sounds the same.
I just checked because I know a place that is selling that album cheap and I want to increase my Industrial collection, which is basically NIN and MM right now.

i actually hate that old gray album lol, but i got on a kick of their old stuff and had to give it another try. so def check their first few releases if you haven't! otherwise that Owen album is my favorite of his easily (mike kinsella of cap'n jazz/american football). and I bet you'd like I Kill Giants s/t, it's fun and sad, like most good emo

You ever listened to Chemlab? Underrated industrial rock

I heard the first album once, but it wasn't enough to form a proper opinion on them.
It's on my computer though.

I really like the fall
I think it's just as good as the others or even better
look
youtube.com/watch?v=9Vg_tIk0zHI

a girl i met off tinder got me into that old grey album after already hearing their latest. also thanks user will check out
its a really shit beard but it's there....

youtube.com/watch?v=zl7VNgPRm9w

A. G. Cook - Radio Tank Mix

ahm

Liked it, what's it? Proggresive Techno?

...

ambient house? ambient dub? downtempo? psybient?
idk really, all of those maybe
>alcove
lol lmao
and then I said

I'm some songs you might know
I can see your lips move
Singing or saying?
Talking to me or looking behind me
Looking straight through me
I'm some stone and some clay
I am building my strength up
Fighting or saving?
Taking my legacy one step further
Leaving you all behind me
Going straight to the top.

...

If you liked Ghosts, Old Ramon is a good choice, it's very much in the same vein (albeit maybe less country influenced)

...

I know, it's a lot of bandcamp stuff. But in my defence I just love sad men with guitars. It's just so original

-lil peep
'oh my good he's such a fashion icon!'

Not a massive fan of Untrue, but his run of EPs up to (but not including) Rival Dealer was great

+deftones, JAMC, Lost Rivers
I should listen to devo...

+Nirvana

+elliott smith
yeah thats all

+FO, LUM, Young Thug, Big Star
Not been wanting to listen to that Kendrick much... maybe someday I'll come back to it
More Life is ok if you skip loads of tracks lol. Get it together is so fucking shite

+Alex G
I feel bad for listening to him for the meme, but in my defence I was looking up the credits of Blonde. His stuff is pretty good though. Hate the (sandy) addition...

gonna listen to Thundercat now
Fuck i loved that Tyler album when it came out, haven't listened to it in a few years... ah to be 17 again.

gf is ok

+Actress, Freddie Gibbs
That Sung Tongs was ok from what I remember. Might give it a revisit. Remember when anco were the largest meme band ever?

Nujabes and Tomppabeats fuck yes dude

i'm only a few minutes in, but that's some of the more fascinating stuff i've seen recently
thanks for the link!
i think Plagal Grind is better this way, with their junkie take on the old Dunedin sound
hope you'll enjoy all 25 minutes of their discography
> i think it's a rare case of the single being the worst track lmao
word, the B-sides are some of their best stuff, but the title track is their most uninspired single so far
i do enjoy the chorus though
*jjirit jjirit jjirit jjirit*

faggot

fuck wrong picture. That was a great episode though

faggot

who are you trying to impress?

interesting
hey why tf do u like Lil Uzi so much but not Denzel Curry like what the heck
