Are there any majorly noticeable groups from Denmark? It seems so dry of music compared to its Nordic Brothers. Sweden was 80s Pop wonderland, Iceland has Post-Rock and Dream Pop, Norway and Finland have become absolute memes with their notoriety in Metal, what has Denmark done besides a few shitty pop hits?

if you want danish music go explore beyond the top charts lol

The Savage Rose
Bisse
The Minds of 99
Sort Sol/Sods
Mew are from Denmark
>majorly noticeable groups
hmm i guess if you're looking at groups who's achieved grand commercial succes worldwide what denmark has offered probably pales in comparions to other nordic countries but i'll vouch for denmark having one of the best underground music scenes
Listen to this. Trust me man, you won't regret it.
Malk de Koijn is a must-listen if you're into hip hop
Some of the best rap lyrics I've heard including international rap groups. Danish though, so you have to know the language to get it.

Lower, the best post-punk band in recent memory, are from Denmark, although they broke up last year
There's also Efterklang (baroque pop) and Town Portal (math rock)
This is a kinda forgotten danish post-punk band called De må være belgiere (They Must Be Belgians)
This is great, thanks for the share

Suspekt is clearly the best Danish artist

Denmark has a pretty solid hip-hop scene. The first hip-hop artists that come to mind are: Ukendt Kunstner, Gilli, LOC, and Suspekt.
