What does Sup Forums think of the Wall St. bull and girl?
I really don't understand why fems like it so much. It looks more like a tantrum then defiance. The girl is standing in the way of a bull market and economic growth. In other words she's being a little bitch and willing to ruin our country for no reason. Maybe she didn't get her way.
why are you ragging on her and not that pigeon? she's just a sculpture, she didn't choose to stand there. the pigeon is there on purpose.
Carter Cooper
This. If anything that pigeon is being the little bitch.
Levi Cruz
NYC fag here. The statue is temp, it was put there for woman's day or w/e
Dominic Wilson
The bull is a monument to the free market, but we all know the game is rigged. It should be replaced with a statue of a rich guy whipping his workers.
Joseph Walker
the symbolism is pretty darn weak. is she getting economically lifted without her doing anything? she should be riding a bull fighting the bear.
Mason Diaz
>The statue is temp
how adorable that you would think that...
Ethan Rogers
...
Cameron Rodriguez
It must be pretty great having as much free time as you clearly do.
John Rivera
Seen pics of that statue from the back side, with girls/women feeling acd caressing it's balls. Damn women.
Hunter Foster
Well played Sir
Chase Lopez
Strange conclusion. Seems more like fun women.
Caleb Morgan
I think less of you for thinking this is a real topic.
Bentley Murphy
the pigeon just wants its picture taken with the statue
Hunter Miller
...
James Price
If you live or work anywhere near wall st you can't help but see/hear/think about it.
The real sign of too much free time is reading and commenting on Sup Forums. And you, me, and op are all guilty.
Yes, Sup Forums. The place I come to when I'm looking for deep discussions on the most important topics of the day. I have to see that thing 3-4 times a week, I like this topic.
Eli Long
someone should drill a hole in her mouth and fuck it, does it even have a face? i have never seen the other side just this one angle new america fucking sucks no wonder autisim rates are so high here now a days its just a bunch of liberals wanting to point a finger and outcast a bad guy while crying that public shaming is wrong >blame the airport security not american airlines >why the fuck do you think bruce jenner is smart now i dont understand it anymore
Henry Thomas
It's there to give yuppie wanna be rich white city boys something to hump.
Bentley Harris
>It looks more like a tantrum then defiance. See? This is what is so good about democracy. You can blieve anything you like, and say so, even when it flies in the face of all observable facts. You can misconstrue anything, and say so, to prop up your own rather shakey internal agenda. And nobody will try to stop you. You hope.
Wyatt Gray
it got extended from a month to a year+
you're crazy if you think its not getting extended again in 2018
Luis Foster
the guy that made is the bull is really pissed about it. he's planning to sue the city to move it.
Brandon Carter
It represents the lack of self awareness by feminists.
That bull would easily destroy the small girl, but her clueless posture shows her ignorance.
Alexander Morgan
The problem is they're changing what his art means by placing theirs in close proximity. It's clearly intentional and it's basically hijacking his statue as part of theirs. It's pretty clearly not cool, freedom of speech or some shit.
Dylan Harris
It's the little girl facing down the Wall St. corruption. A David and Goliath story.
David Flores
the fucking bull was guerilla art and was seized and impounded before public outcry had it reinstalled just down the road
Parker Gomez
so now he's gonna sue and his art will change meaning again to 'bully crybaby'
Justin Peterson
looks like america to me
Cameron Thompson
Did somebody tape a pen0r to it yet?
Brandon Flores
It also completely changes the meaning of the original bull statue, which was ,want to symbol lose the power and unpredictable nature of the stock market and Wall Street.
Ryan Nelson
Or riding a bear alongside putin, fighting the bull.
Grayson Flores
I think it is quite telling how the artist of the big bad bull feels threatened by the little girl. Kind of the whole story of the US economy these days.
Cameron Sullivan
The bull artist should replace the bull with a giant pile of dead fetuses.
Ghetto birth control is real.
Ryder Rogers
shillposter being autismo b8
John Perez
>20 trillion in debt
Why are we paying for garbage like this?
Colton Scott
Someone needs to weld a massive bronze dildo to the little girl
Easton Barnes
no it wasn't you dumb asshole
Jordan Price
we're not. it's an advertising campaign by state street. said so right on the plaque.
John Morgan
>threatened
Jaxson Anderson
I think it's funny
The bull represents economic growth. All original context to the piece though are completely ignored now though and unfortunately feminists try to just take the bull as a charging hate full symbol of a man club. They do this only when some one else decided that it would be cute to stick a small fearless girl to block the path of the bull, as a mental need to justify and make sense of the art in their own way. Now we have the girl as a permanent addition and the entire art piece taken together is literally, not metaphorically, not round about, literally a piece that shows the social decay of feminism stops the progress of economic development.
I think it is hilarious because in 50 years art critics and historians are not going to be under the same social restraints and will be able to show this criticism of the brain dead mobs praising this inane piece of art.
Jason Robinson
Apart from thinking the statue looks like shit: I really don't care. Unfortunately freedom of speech means sometimes your ideas will be challenged by others. You have no right to artistic integrity in a public space, if he wanted that he would've given the piece to a museum.
You've got the right idea, he should stop being a crybaby and escalate this shit.
Justin Roberts
fucking shadman
Chase Jackson
you mean.. young women side with the russians to fight the US economy? when did that happen?
Samuel Nelson
>weld a massive bronze
Can't weld bronze.
Aaron Hughes
I can't wait for some little girl to think it's cool and try to attempt it in real life - that's definitely a start of a GREAT rekt thread...!!!
Colton Clark
The bull artist is threatening to sue because it changes the context and violates the terms of his art instalment. If this shit were allowed anyone could install anything near other art and change the context.
The bull represents American market resilience after the 1987 crash.
>if he wanted that he would've given the piece to a museum
>implying the setting of a piece of art is irrelevant to the perception of it
Sup Forums and some parts of Sup Forums only hate it because of the pro feminist undertones of it, WOW someone has an other opinion than "hitler did nothing wrong, drump 4 bresident xxxDDDD", how offensive!
Benjamin Rodriguez
For instance some could now add a 50s mom with an apron on dragging the near girl by the arm back to the kitchen where dad is waiting at the table for dinner with his newspaper.
Liam Jackson
I think the same
Ethan Long
There's another version of this pic i saw with all kind of degrading stuff written on the girl. So hot.
I love leftist humiliation porn
Camden Mitchell
It's even funnier when you realize fearless girl is an advertisement from a company to appease all the criticism from them having virtually no women high up
Oliver Russell
well he doesn't own the space and didn't have a contract that specified the city was required, assuming they legally could, make content-based restrictions like that on advertisers who purchased space nearby.
Cooper Roberts
I find it funny that a silly fucking statue triggers all these obese forevermalone neet phaggots who usually hide behind the "straight oppressed white male" brand and whinge one a fucking user board. Way to go. I am sure feminists are shitting themselves.
Kayden Kelly
Wall street is corrupt af you fucking retard. Since when did they ever represent you or your country?
Nolan Torres
I don't oppose the change, but you will probably still see that it's kind of a dick move to do that. Imagine you were an artist presenting at some exhibition and your art was placed next to ultra accurate photographs of buttholes. It isn't your fault, it isn't the hosts fault because the other "artist" will have to present somewhere, it's still bad for you. It gets even worse when it's accepted that it intentionally damages the meaning of your art.
Evan Rogers
...
Leo Cooper
That's so fucking hot
Zachary Lewis
yes but threatening to file a lawsuit over it makes you the bigger dick
Xavier Butler
Well if you consider it the biggest achievement in your life you might aswell fight for it.
Caleb Price
...
Robert Garcia
It symbolise the power of jew in america i'm french but it's quite the same in all developped country . Jew in order to hide social inegality have create a feminist lobby wich don't even deserve women interest because , women are like men they're interest depend on they're place in the social ladders so it's a symbole of colonialism and racial suprematie according order by the most hatefull books torah
Carson Lopez
I like it. To me it perfectly illustrates the great unstoppable mass of the bull market meeting the one out of a million small once neglected group of people who finally, after years of being beat down by brutality driven market forces, have risen up and stood proud and faced down the bull for a brief second, before getting charged, trampled to death, mashed into the mud, and paved over for a chemical company so rich murricans yuppies with money to throw around gambling on the stock market can get a second boat for the vacation house.
I like that the artist brings moment closer to the inevitability of the doomed girls crushing defeat.
Juan Johnson
More r34 pls
Daniel Martin
TIme to upgrade.
Or add a massive bull schlong slapping the kid in the face
Jacob Evans
lol Back to your workstation. We don't pay you to think.
Connor Evans
>the fucking bull was guerilla art and was seized and impounded before public outcry had it reinstalled just down the road
Yeah and the artist who dumped in the street is now all sorts of butthurt about the addition of another statue. "but it changes muh message"
Lincoln Evans
As if a 1 ton raging animal wouldn't trample a 50 lb girl
Zachary Foster
Kek
The message. It's a bull. The message is bull.
Anything else is imaginary and entirely subjective.
Kayden Butler
That's exactly why fems like it.
Reminds them of themselves.
Asher Foster
She's like 20 kilos or so. And bull weight's is over a fkng ton. It's like standing in front of moving train. This is not a bravery, this is just someone being stupid. The whole meaning is let those tiny pricks do what they want, the world doesn't care and have enough of weight to crush them.
Oh god... dat captcha. thx google
Jaxon White
>babby can't into metaphors
Alexander Gray
My building is right next that fucking thing and it's still there. It's just more proof that feminist are absolutely retarded
Ethan Brown
Too bad you're not talented enough to have your own statue made because then I could just come by and put it dick on its forehead and call it art fucking idiot
Benjamin Campbell
...
Justin Johnson
How do you know he doesn't have a contract? If I took the time to make a statue that large I would have abso fucking lutly have a contract.
Women also have terrible judgement and because they have been handled with kid gloves their entire lives, they don't know their limits. I love watching uppity sluts get their own shit handed to them. Fuck off, low T commie.
Charles Diaz
They didn't. They soldered, and that is a very different thing.
Benjamin Reyes
Fuck you Donald
Sebastian Reed
>The girl is standing in the way of a bull market and economic growth.
so what, financial market growth no longer has a positive effect on the real economy
Aiden Powell
I think the statue is great. I can't understand why you call it a "tantrum", it's kind of a mean spirited (dare I say sexist?) response to something that's intentionally unrealistic.
Calling her a "little bitch and willing to ruin our country for no reason" is absurd and does nothing but project how much you hate feminism, it doesnt really say much about the statue.
Jason Wright
IT SYMBOLIZES HOW FEMINISM IS STANDING IN THE WAY OF SUCCESS
James Green
was that the girl that stopped the Wall St.melt down OH WAIT THERE WAS NO SUCH GIRL
Wyatt Anderson
I *highly* doubt that was the intent of the artist.... nice try tho
Carter Lewis
he should sue. you guys don't have moral rights over there?
Grayson Hall
what is the statue for rich guy insider trading?
Hudson Sanders
it's a fucking ad campaign. you aren't paying.
Dominic Fisher
wrong copyright moral rights. he'll win the case.
Aaron Young
the girl is not part of the original statue. this was said above.
Ryan Hughes
no. he did public art. a fund company put a fucking girl up and a plaque advertising their funds.
he should win. his art was changed and his message changed.
Jace Adams
I think it's pretty good. It shows just how far women have come in an industry previously dominated by men
Charles Stewart
Pedophile symbolism
Connor Cook
You Sup Forumsros have nothing better to debate? I insist this thread be flooded with bananas, spidermen, and other faggotry until it's time for the next trap thread.
Joseph Hall
Oh, maybe that's why I think it's good :(
Nolan Bennett
that's not a cause for legal action, just for butthurt
Nicholas Turner
Like most actions of the American left it is based on emotion rather than logic
Jack Green
It makes a pretty solid point. Women always stand in the way of economic prosperity.
Elijah Morales
looks cool, what's the issue?
has no one stolen the girl yet? i'd steal it and rub my penis on it every day for the rest of my life.
Leo Flores
uh, having your art used to sell someone else's product without your permission most certainly IS cause for legal action
