Post your top 10, make friends, judge eachother, do whatever, man
Ahh, a fellow seeker of the brown sound
you know it
BUMP
come on guys
I don't think many people have top 10's made, here's my top 16.
+Beefheart, Caroliner, and STG
- Royal Trux
Check out Syzygys
There's some good stuff on there (ground zero, thinking fellers, royal trux) but it seems as if you're trying too hard to be 'avant garde'. Your chart is basically poseur core (which isn't bad). Just wait for somebody to post the copypasta and you'll get some recs
I'm not honestly, I just really enjoy this music. Really avant garde stuff is enjoyable and can be really fun and uplifting for me on a shitty day, or enjoyable in another way, like watching a movie, that's the main reason why. I get what you are saying though, I hear it often.
too lazy to trim it or remember if there's albums i wanted to add or switch around, should be close enough though
try listening to Leng Tch'e by Naked City. It's a slow buildup so dont give up thinking it's just noise
>bela fleck
nice, love his playing. Drive is a nice progressive Bluegrass album by him if you like bluegrass
you like being called weird in social situations
prone to depression
sweaty hands
also to add to what I said before, another thing I appreciate about these albums is the different aesthetic qualities each one have. Like jumping into another world or something
top row is whatever
bottom row is based af
Recs please
Duane Allman - An Anthology
Pretty Things - SF Sorrow
Van Dyke Parks. Nice choice.
idk man. it's the trashy, fun and quirky kind of 'avant-garde' though, nothing that would require a lot of education to actually understand like jazz and shit, which is what posercore-user made his point about i think
check out to live and shave in la - the wigmaker
+glenn branca
op is a fag what a surprise
Ever heard of Sup Forumscore?
>op is a fag
not even op but
>unknown pleasures in top 10
>dopesmoker in top 10
>doesn't even rec anyone
>doesn't add anything worthwhile to the thread, posting "+artist" is just lazyposting
Swear you can buy all of these on vinyl from urban outfitters
I like youre taste sir
...
the poseur in his beginning stages of development
Come on man, is it really that easy to make a judgement on a person based solely on the music that they like?
music's popularity ≠ quality
Lol, im not sure if you genuinely missed the joke or just wanted to let everyone know that you have the most basic opinions ever
you love music that has an unpredictable energy but a masculine fanbase
You are highly introverted
you are a young dude, probably 19-20, who would get along very well with someone like me, also gets mad pussy for no reason, smokes weed maybe
very very good taste. feels very emotionally connected to music that feels ambitious
likes dark music has a goth/emo boner
yeah it does look like i found Sup Forums yesterday, but who gives a fuck it's what i like, not gonna use music taste as a fashion accessory
you try really hard to make sure your taste is "smart"... but still has okay taste. Is highly judgemental...
it's cacophony
It's just it seemed like you thought I meant these albums being for sale in urban outfitters was a good thing?
what is "the brown sound" i'm just curious?
>does not know how to count to ten...
just thought you were shitting on them for being popular albums (aka albums found at urban outfitters)
also doesn't know how to count to ten
a sound that makes you shit your pants
okay, i suppose that makes sense
Ahh right good, yeah more or less, it's a specific kind of popular though, like where people all listen to the same stuff but they've convinced themselves its the secret "good music" that the plebs wouldn't understand
DUDE, we are the same... I actually had to change my chart so it wasnt like... the same
you are a very intelligent person,,, but this chart doesnt seem honest
Very good hearted, loyal person
Great fucking taste. Listen to Lil Ugly Mane or Curtis Mayfield if you havent
It's as honest as I can be. Those are my 10/10's
you like interesting rhythms and chord progressions... but with a poppy twist
you seem like a fan of weird production.
probably are a visual person who is more likely to enjoy an album if it has a neat cover
don't you like blue suicide??
I like 'em both but I've listened to Posthumous Release more
likes music that sounds gross
like music that is esoteric
is honest... probably the only truly honest chart here
likes albums that had a large back story
tries to be dark/goth but has never suffered
habitually dropped acid
Knows how to bust a move, may or may not smoke menthols
>doesn't know how to read posts
shits himself
would play acoustic guitar with
Rundo
Doomie-treskit

unhappy
what's on your mind
>nothing that would require a lot of education to actually understand like jazz
haha wow
>unhappy
more general melancholy, wagecucking it up until school starts, not the worst fate
>rundo
since you are the only one who gave me a response I kind of want to know what this means
>Doomie-treskit
wtf does this even mean
that feel
i'd like a steady job but i don't really need money and i lost all shame from mooching off my parents years ago
...
Honestly, I just like having the job I have so when I come home no one can really bother me about going outside or socializing, because that's most of what I do, and having a routine helps, the 45 minute commute to a job that only pays $12 sucks though, but at least I don't have rent to pay
Peatch
theres 2 acceptable rap albums here
eeeeeeeep
>The Drift
>Ground Zero
>Royal Trux
fucking based
teenager who recently started listening to genres other than hip hop

teenager who recently started listening to genres other than metal

hiue huie ehehu
Is this some kind of advanced shitposting?
it's 14 year old lolsorandomxD posting
you can tell from his music choices
teapish
hmmmmm

Nah I never listened to that much metal. After I made this chart I realized how mallgoth my taste is.
my music choices are stellar
lmao defensive as fuck
i'm a nice guy
+++ kebnekaise
how does a history of sport fishing compare to more deep cuts? I should probably just listen to it but I'd appreciate your take
+ tim buckley and beefheart
+ kid a
hi, this is I like your list. Have you listened to the new (Sandy) Alex G album yet? I think you'd enjoy it
Sport Fishing has longer songs and more instrumental interlude type tracks, and it's a lot more heavy on the slowcore influence. There's nothing on Sport Fishing that sounds like Post-Present for example.
hey do you like andrew w.k.
well I love slowcore so I'm not sure why I've slept on it this long, thanks
meme
