anime lads desu

What's the shittiest circuit and why is it Silverstone.

Discuss.

Forgot to link old thread

proper title, fuck your "general"

finnish autism strikes again

...

Why do you plebs give Tilke praise / harassment for building Baku (and Singapore to some extent).

It's a goddamn street circuit,
>The streets can't be moved
>The pit lane position is limited and must be kept to rigourously
>All streets must be at least three cars wide (T8/9 seem to be exceptions)
>Must look at least slightly aesthetically pleasing (unless its an FE track)

Street circuits are always limited with their layout. See the American F1 street circuits and how blocky they were (Phoenix / Las Vegas Car Park Ring)

If a street circuit is good for racing then you've got lucky and probably benefitted from many wide boulevards. The problems above are why you don't see street circuits in anything other than large cities.

The next mexicunt?

WELL DONE BAKU

shoo shoo filthy communist

Because he picked the streets in the circuit and it's a bad layout, and he could have picked better ones, but he's a shitter so he didn't

>I've never needed a teammate to be able to push me, but the better the driver the better it is for me when I finish ahead of him.

The lovable, respectable Lewis Hamilton

You think he was solely in charge of those street choices?
No, he was influenced by Azerbaijani officials to show off their old town and university.
>Hurrr, Look at our history and knowledge!

I bet he got annoyed and tried to plan it out on proper streets, so got mad and compromised with that shitty connector he knew would fuck someone up. Tilke isn't always at fault, especially with street circuits.

Seriously if there is anyone who still likes they need a good slap in the face

*likes him

>You know, it's nice to see Lance and Valterri building bonds before the new season

Can't wait for the Williams shitposting between these two next year

they sorta fixed it with the last few track changes; it's easily the best its ever been

watching old races from the 80s and 90s really shows you how much its improved

See

>Three fucking new threads up now

>two new threads created by leaves in the old thread, already

How much are the benefits for clinically retarded children in Finland?

>This is the first time [Rosberg] has won in 18 years [of racing together]
N.b. wrong, as Nico won GP2 in 2006
>I'm interested to see who would want to be my team-mate - and respect anyone that would want to.

what is his problem?

You're presuming alot without evidence.

Least presumptions is that's how the track was designed. And it's shit and he could have done better, or not done it at all.

Been trying to get back into F1 Championship Edition, have to use pad only as no wheel. Forgot how utter arse the DS3 was.

and it's the thread from A FUCKING LEAF with the terrible op that won out

Are there many Polish lads knocking about in the lower formulas/development teams somewhere or was Kubica just a freak one-off for you lot?

Somebody asked for tracks with elevation change.

Fucking Portimao.

They could even hold a F1 race there.

Help! I've been bullied

And I didn't enjoy it very much at all...

U mad?

>F1 CE

How long until Codemasters's F1 license runs out? I really want their last game to be the ultimate F1 game, with all seasons from '09 onwards in it.
>inb4 2016 was the last year they're gonna make it
If that's the case, they really missed out

Implying Portugal has the money to host a grand Prix.
I'll have you know, it was very enjoyable for me.

>in the moment I posted this I realized I mixed up F1 CE with F1 99-02
FUUUUUUUUUCK

The fanny flustered finn & some other cheeky leaf were slow as shit though
youtube.com/watch?v=-H2Vt9r-aOM

They are on a multi-year contract with FOM. There's no other company that could realistically replace them.

>inb4 the lying fucks of Kunos
>inb4 the lying fucks of Slightly Mad

NO

Friendly reminder that the Villeneuve family is the worst thing that has ever happened to F1

How about EA?

There's a backmarker in GP3, a one-off in FV8 3.5, a backmarker in """""World""""" Superbike, some chick in obscure European GT/touring car racing.

Nobody anywhere near Kubica's level. Maybe Giermaziak 2-3 years ago, but he's not interested in single-seaters and his LMP efforts are rather uninspiring for the last couple of years.

There's a reason you end up in the box most nights

The not gonna happen Tier:
>Vettel - Ferrari's disease
>Gimiii:DDD - Ferrari's disease
>Ricciardo - muh Red Bull
>Amx - muh Red Bull
>Hulkenberg - JUST

Difficulties Tier
>Checo Pérez - FI can't leave Ocon alone without a decent team mate
>Bottas - Williams can't leave Stroll alone without a decent team mate
*both of these affected by the fact that there are almost no free decent drivers on the market

Actually stand a chance Tier
>Alonso - McLaren can't leave Waffle alone without a decent team mate, and although Jensen is available, he seems uninterested. Apparently Mercedes' first option

Very likely Tier
>Wehrlein - except he is shit and too unexperienced

Free drivers from best to worse

>Buemi
>Heidfeld
>JEV
>Rossi
>Pastor
>Gutierrez

Most likely outcome:

Alonso to Mercedes, having to pay some millions of shckels to McHonda, Wehrlein to Sauber with Ericsson, leaving space for two shit drivers in Manor.

Also, together with the regs change, THICC tires, France2018 and Sepang and Singapore out, Alonso to Merc is another step forward to make F1 great again.

>EA

and there was this girl. most impressive thing she did was killing a bird with her helmet while driving

A place where Brits which afraid or too poor to go to MotoGP go racing.
A """"World"""" championship.

>Did you mean based Gosia Rdest?
Yeah, but I can imagine she's a literal >who

There were some more folks back in 2010-2011, on Kubica's popularity, almost all of them I haven't heard of ever since.

All these half-Germans from Prosche Supercup don't count.

i, like most people, also hope Alonso goes to Mercedes

but then so who will partner with Vandoorne at McLaren, assuming Button does stay retired?

It's going to be Wehrlein.

Nico won GP2 in 2005, Hamilton in 2006.

t. autism

Alonso has made like 80 million for the last two years. He could pay McHonda 40 million to get out of his contract and then drive Mercedes for free.

Grosjean because he has a clause in his contract that if a "top team" calls, he can GTFO

>Mercedes put Wehrlein talks on hold
>Sauber signs Haryanto
>Manor signs Gutierrez and Giovinazzi
>Mercedes pluck Bottas from Williams
>Williams hires Nasr
>Wehrlein gets cucked out of F1
>Wehrlein goes back to DTM

I'd be OK with this.

Be honest, /f1/: how good a driver are you?

He's gonna come back.

2 retirements and counting.

Simply RELENTLESS

So, this would be the last step for Gutierrez before he steps out of f1 for good, I gather.

I'm pretty good, no accidents, no tickets, everyone that's been a passenger says I'm pretty good, I'm also okay for winter driving unlike most of my city.

>This is the first time [Rosberg] has won in 18 years [of racing together]
>N.b. wrong, as Nico won GP2 in 2005

He meant it was the first time that Nico won something when they were both driving in the same series. Hamilton wasn't in GP2 when Rosberg won the championship in 2005.

Forgot to add a ''nice'' to conclude my post.

TSUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

>A place where Brits which afraid or too poor to go to MotoGP go racing.

Meh, it's kinda true, but the racing has been quite good. Szkopek's an old guy now, though. Not much to look forward to.

Why are there so many Niks in f1?

Nikki Lauda
Nick Heidfield
Nico Hulkenberg
Nico Rosberg
Nicola Kiessa
Nicola Larini
Nick the greek

Question:

When has Hamilton ever won a race in a car that couldn't. The only time that sort of could come to mind would be Hungary 2013.

>Nick the greek
Nick Fatcuntodopoulos*

If Kvyat wouldn't crash Vettel in Russia would he still racing for RBR or eventually they were gonna promote AMX at some point of the season?

I like this thank you for your autistic mind.
Also rosberg should be unlucky because without Lewis in his team he would have been a multi WDC

He would've retired after 2014.

I dont know but they could have done with a zebra crossing...

All Finns watching linnanjuhlat?

not unless in this alternate universe kvyat fucks up similarly to our timeline, then you'd play your certainty card on amx replacing kvyat for next season

I fucking love you, Nige

just spat my red bull over the wall.

Nah he wouldn't have been as stressed and had to focus so hard if he was the #1 driver and had a clear #2 with him. I do believe that he retired for the reasons he said

Berger is Good-Tier Beta at best

that car was a race-winner though, as shown by Nico in China and Silverstone

Tilke's original layout for Singapore was different to the final design (it was going to go round a roundabout). But ultimately he just did a drawing on a bus map when asked by the organisers and they took that to a different organisation called KBR and they modified it.

It's not really Tilke's circuit.

kek

>this flag
>this post
Expected of Tumpistan 2bh, classic racist remark

Maybe not in the middle of the season, but AMX promotion happened because they wanted to secure him in RBR before Merc and Ferrari. That's why Gimi con confirmed so early this season (usually Ferrari announces line up at Monza)

that's just shit.

Webber looks too alone there, you should put Rosberg there to accompany him.

>you now remember Robert Kubica had a genuine chance at winning the champions hip in 2008, until BMW made the decision to stop developing the 08 car to focus on 09, and we all know how that turned out...

Of course. Kimi is actually one of my all time favourite guests.

I'd say pretty good, far above the average in my city

Sauli is the man.

I get paid $40k to do it so I'm like 75% of Roberto Merhi

Baku is GOAT

Just wait until the death race there next year. Everyone was super conservative there because everyone was anticipating 9000 safetycars and crashes, and the straight exposed all the engine disparities so theres no point in pushing through the middle sectors at 110% because you have nothing to gain. If the competition is any closer and if the cars are indeed faster next year, it will be mayhem.

Lets not forget that it could rain at this circuit as well.

>speeds higher than Monza with 0 visibility in rain on a circuit that has to be built up again every year so it might be total unsafe shit depending on year and who rebuilt it

going to be literally deadly

Pls no bully, aus cunt.
Bully the german yuruyuri shitposter instead.
My name doesn't end in -poulos anyway and it's not that long.

they need to turn the main straight into 3 or 4 DRS zones.

Imagine the back and forth slipstream battles that would cause.

that little bitch will cop their due whack when I see them.

Alonso's move would be such a gamble at this point though. Merc have been dominant yes, but how many dominant teams successfully retained their dominance through a major regulation change?

Unless Alonso knows both McLaren and Honda are full shit, then I don't see why he would leave.

Lets not forget that the new regulations are more or less based on McLaren's suggestions, so it is an assumption that they know what to do with the regs. In all honesty its useless to try and guess the team standings for next year though, for all we know Haas could come up with some Brawn-tier trick by accident or James Key could BTFO aging Adrian Newey and Carlos Sainz wins more races than Max Verstappen in 2017

i like him. come at me you autistic fingloid

Good format, too bad your actual rankings are total shit my man

e.g. Stewart would be nowhere if Clark hadn't ripped himself and Cevert subsequently would also be nowhere also was beaten hard by Stewart who was really just a second rate Clark meaning Cevert is nowhere near God tier, in fact he likely doesn't belong on the list

Berger and Barrichello are nowhere near GOD tier either and Villeneuve certainly isn't a GOAT either

fuck your shit tier list mate fuck

Hello does anyone here play F1 2016 multiplayer on PS4?
If so, how is it? Are there still a lot of players?
