I have what to watch for next few months...thanks guys
is that like criticism that its not remarkable enough to remember?
I dunno, after watching it all other battles in space seem almost retarded.
Especially starwars with huge two ships flying next to each other, where 10 sec burn in wrong direction can cause collision.
The world building is just amazing, they invented belters creole, own language as they really are people of their own with own culture
The factions and motivations are believable, no one is really comically evil and every single side does shitty things
The CGI and production value feels amazing. No low budget shitting around.
the pacing of the first season and first half of the second was just amazing. Every episode was huge.
The second half of 2nd season is not that great, things settled bit, but still compared to battlestar galactica, star trek, firefly, babilon5, .. its just on its own tier of quality
its not
>They Live
haha my man
Not seen the series but the picture you posted makes it looks painfully generic.
>Moon
This one goes a bit too far up it's own ass after a while.
lel it wasnt criticism,no. I was trying to say that when I started to watch that I couldn´t stop, thats why I checked that whole series in two days but its been time and Ive seen many films and series so cant remember them all. Also I will pick you my best: >Ridick 1,2,3(especially loved scifi, because I love strong personality characters+horror scenes+survival mode, etc etc)
>After the Dark(strong psychology motives)
>After Earth(Will Smith with his boy)
>Helix(if you love unusual series you gotta check this, this series feels like production of Sup Forums tbh)
>On the edge of tomorrow(die,learn,repeat)
on account of Helix series I have to say you shouldnt watch if you dont have stomach on severe perversion scenes... In many ways this series will fuck you up
do you even know where you are boy
>>After Earth(Will Smith with his boy)
:D ye ikr just giving little alert just for case
i enjoyed that one too, sorry
...
>Sunshine
>good
>opinions
>popinions
Dark Star
Water world. Mad Max.

Try reading sci-fi instead.
Asimov
Clarke
Heinlein
Dick
Any will do.
offtopic
movies and shows are completely incomparable to books
Bear
Baxter
Stross
I´m kinda LOTR guy... Also liked Joshua case, Eragon books, Witcher from Sapkowski, Golden Compass books etc..
I´m 23 so, you know... every generation has its books
I liked it. They used so much money to make "nice" boats. I know that it's not for everyone's taste.
I'm twenty-four and have read all of Tolkien's works in addition to several sci-fi classics including Asimov and Heinlein, Edgar Allen Poe's crazy shit, and more. You need to expand to the classics, my friend.
Maybe you are right ;) These days my time for books is fulfilled with Java and C manuals
Ten minutes into this and I could tell it was an abomination from Shyamalan.
Fuck that shit, I'm out.
Man from Earth
Blade Runner
man from earth
dark city
moon
arrival
elysium
interstellar 5555
Treasure Planet
existenZ
Starship Troopers
Soylent Green
Contact
don't know how people like Interstellar
good idea, good visuals, ok acting. But 90% of the movie is boring and forgetable
>Treasure Planet
you mean that disney animated movie which I watched as 8yo?
but I cant say i didnt like it
the 4th season is not that great but
expanse has lotsa overacting which makes it sometimes look cheap
I put stuff up for different tastes, and yes its a good movie
scifi fags scream "if you love sci fi you need to watch this" and when you watch it, its shit
there isnt much real sci fi in film.
andromeda strain
2001 of course
The Quiet Earth, not very special effecty, but good story
the day the earth stood still (only the originals for both this and andromeda)
phase 4
soylent green
trying to avoid purely horror/comedy
close encounters, though more of a fantasy
lifeforce
they live
*undiscoverd gem: The Hidden
Brother from another planet - not really sci fi, but great film, does have an alien in it.

raw deal
90 replies on good sci fi film... Sup Forums knows how to sci-fi tho..
If you can find it before the re-did the effects with CGI -- to me, the CGI was too fucking obvious and ruined it.
>Raw Deal
>Good.
>scifi
Nigga wtf is wrong with you?
he actually watched 10 mins
kek
The Lexx movies are good if you like budget sci-fi and are a little bit drunk. You'll tease out a quick one to Whist and marvel at a fat Rutger Hauer.
