How do we save cinema?

We rape

We turn to tv.

8+ hour drama series beats movie dramas that are constrained to 1.5-2 hours.

The Jungle Book is live-action.

It's been dead since the seventies

:^D

this

programme > kino

>wait for the next james cameron movie
...shit he's doing nothing but avatar sequals for the next decade
>there is no hope

>Length has anything to do with quality
Fuck off.

>chinese shit

Its Stephen Chow you fucking retard

jungle book is not animated you idiot

Tell that to your bull

But seriously, we are in the golden age of tv. It'd be nice to take a break from eternal capeshit but I can survive as long as tv keeps up the balance.

t. triggered cuck

It was shit. Nowhere near Kung Fu Hustle levels of great

All those movies made so much money because they were successful in China and Russia, right? Nice lowest common denominator blockbuster flicks that you don't need to know English to understand, since you can translate them with little effort/subtitle them without much dialogue to show on screen

So the answer is: Kill all non-english speakers, so mass appeal blockbusters aren't the only things foreigners can watch, thus increasing the earnings of lower budget movies, in the long term improving the quality of movies in general

Basically what I mean is we should just nuke China

You're very welcome

Who cares?

There are tons of great movies. Just none that people pay attention to.

Neither would I want them to, the attention of the unwashed masses would just ruin the true kino that's out there.

>best selling movies are the ones that appeal to largest audiences
wow what a shocker
truly movie as an art form is dead

...

>Animation
>Bad
It is one of the few genres that produces decent movies nowadays

The only original movies are cartoons and chinkshit
>mfw chinks are now more creative than Hollywood
Really makes you think

>Hollywood
>Ever creative

Everything in that movie is animated except for Mowgli. All the animals and all the environments are 100% CGI. It's an animated movie in the same way Avatar or Gravity was also an animated movie. All CG with one human actor in the mix. I don't understand how studios have been able to convince normies that if the CGI is realistic and there's ONE human that somehow it's not an animated movie.

Well lets see here...
>Great Movie
>Great Movie
>Good Movie
>Overhyped turd that coasted by on name recognition and a 200mil+ ad campaign
>Overhyped Sequel that wasn't terrible
>Good Movie
>Haven't seen that
>How the hell is this here?
>Not terrible movie
>Haven't seen this

CAN'T DOUSE THE MOUSE.

Jungle-book wasn't that bad, it's just painfully mediocre

People who make tv is just people who ain't talented enough for movies

The only problem with tv is if you can get full creative control and are able to end it how you want. See walking dead as an example, they fired the director and had a season of the show take place in 10 pages of the original comic and it felt like it.
