Is this accepted here?
Sure, this seems sufficiently dark.
We're trying to be more inclusive round these parts.
Come right in.
I think I'm ready to begin my goth phase desu. I love the first Bauhaus album, where should I go from here?
also does this count?

everyday? boi, I ain't seen a /dark/ thread in months
We've had like 4 this week.
there's been one up every day for the last week.
Then it will be stagnant and full of autistic shitposting and tripfaggotry.
Excellent :^)
I missed them because I only come here to search for /shugazi/ in the catalog. But still, last time I saw a big /dark/ thread was during the winter.
So are you the dumb faggot who was shitty up the thread all day yesterday, now trying to run it into the ground because everyone told you that you are a dumb faggot
*shitting
No, I'm just joking. I've been in all the threads and was the OP of two of them. They have all been stagnant, from the very start. We need to make this a regular thing, get people interested and get some actual culture going in here if we want to someday have a good /dark/ thread.
horrendous shit
second
TMT is best Sisters clone.
Bands like Merciful Nuns can fuck right off though, I can't stand them. Which is strange because they have all the trappings of a band I'd really enjoy.
Check out Thangorodrim. Not really into dungeon synth, but this project is really great. They're from SLC originally, relocated to Arizona last year or the year before. I suspect he's one of the guys in Caladan Brood but I'm not sure.
Yeah DS is hit or miss. I mean it's just neckbeards making music for their D&D games.
Why you can't stand Merciful nuns? Maybe because they release so much new music very often that you go bored of it?
What about Garden of Delight?
rec me some good /noise/ boys, I pretty much only know Aaron Dilloway and Merzbow
How does one get into industrial like Skinny Puppy or Front 242 or Ministry? Maybe I just don't enjoy that particular style — and in that case there's nothing I can do — but I really feel like I'm missing out.
i only like 2 of all of ministry's songs, and one of them isnt even an official release
you dont have to force yourself to listen to music dude
I know, but a lot of artists I like enjoy it, so I wanted to give them all a chance.
>I dont know how to make an album cover so im just going to take napalm death - scum and turn it pink
literally why
Ministry has a few distinct eras/sounds. Check them all out.
Skinny Puppy also, to a lesser extent.
so is it just me or is harsh EBM basically goth disco?
Just you
hook me up with sad depressing stuff like this song.
