Volcano sucked ass.
Pics or it didnt happen
Lavalantula.
2 Lava 2 Lantula.
Every Sharknado film.
This.
t. OP
The premise is total garbage, LA is not at a subduction zone, it's a transform zone. It takes a 3rd grade education to know volcanoes will never form there.
I don't mind some liberty with science in films, but that film is walking into The Core level of stupidity.
12 monkeys
Can u guys just recommend apocalypse movies? I love the genre. Don't care if its underrated or whatever buzzword u wanna attach to it.
Defcon 4
wtf are you even trying to say here? Volcanoes can't exist in LA? there's literally an active one there right now, dipshit.
the whole movie was well-researched and many geologists were contracted to help on the screenplay.
try posting your shill shit somewhere else, not working here.
Nice bait
For asteroid impact, I liked Deep Impact over Armageddon.
>Deep Impact
>The Day After Tomorrow
And I'm throwing Feast in there too, because its fucking great.
see
Day after was terribly unbelievable, but it was fun to imagine some of the weather events happening. Again, has problems like The Core of a bunch of bullshit that can never happen.
Plus we so rarely get weather movies, so it's at least something.
I like War of the Worlds as an apocalypse movie. The film certainly has some issues, but it was exceptionally creepy. I still hear that tripod sound in my head sometimes.
both of those were great.
Dunno if this counts.
holy shit that movie was rad. very underrated film.
Twister isn't apocalypse tier, but has a lot of the same things like destruction.
Zombie film called 28 days.
Escape from NY/LA have destroyed city settings and Kurt russel being Kurt russel. I believe at one point he surfs a tsunami in downtown LA.
Does this count?
It was really good, do you know any other movie like it?
"the last man on earth" with vincent price. it was the first film version of 'i am legend'
heston's version was good too.
very OK movie.
most people mess it with Screamer / Screamers 1997 - it's different ones.
and don't waste time on 2009 version

The Road Warrior

well, the road is actually very highly rated, and by some accounts, highly overrated.
Steel Frontier
It was some B movie that I caught on HBO at like 3AM. It was very solid, good acting, great practical effects

Escape from New York
original Planet of the Apes series
>Miracle Mile
This. It's so fucking good.
I also really liked the post-apocalyptic parts of Wall-E
Not sure if it counts but Screamers is probably the best straight to video movie I've ever seen
Nice
