In all honesty I don't think there is a game today that can come close to how good BF2 was back in it's golden days.
When there was 64 players on each side, all working together (properly) in those massive expanses of a map. Squads working together to capture objectives, listening to a commander that knew his shit. Games that went on for 2 hours and came down to the wire, that's what it was all about.
