So we all agree that this was Capekino at its absolute peak right?

Hellboy 1 is fun but is kind of clunky in places and drags in the middle

Hellboy 2 is true capekino however.

I love this movie. Hated Golden Army, though.

I've yet to actually pick up any of Mignola's comics, are they worth it?

this man knows

Hellboy 1 has the greatest side villain ever though.

This is how you do it Suicide Squad.

Both Hellboys are kinda mediocre, Del Toro's spanish speaking movies are his best works.

Very much so, but only the ones Mignola himself draws, which are getting rarer, sadly.

He's also ending Hellboy as a whole soon.

Hellboy 3 when?

>Pearlman is 66 years old
>Guillermo looks like he could die of a heart-attack any minute.

A-anytime now.

Pls no

yes, 100%

from 1994 to our days the quality hasn't changed a bit

BPRD is also great

read them both in a release order
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hellboy_comics

it has its moments

it's already over user.

I can agree that Ron Pearlman was absolutely the right actor for the role and I don't consider Hellbou capeshit

So when is Hellboy 3 coming out?

so is that last panel a watchmen reference? with the clock being past midnight

The thing with Hellboy 1 is that hell boy fights those Squid Dog Monsters on serveral occasions when it should have happened once. It felt like the film repeated itself

I wish he did more, really
the artwork is so profound and unique

>only the ones Mignola himself draws
>not liking based corben

i thought hellboy fans had good taste

I didn't like the shipping in the first one (liz and abe would have been better)
And i didn't like the melodrama in the second.

The first ones better.

while its fun to see HB in a different light, so to speak
corbens vision is unable to achieve the tone mignolas style alows for..
