These are contradictory. Read Marx. The former entails the DotP and the latter entails the immediate destruction of the state and unjust hierarchy (which is wrong and idealist because class the state is created by class and not vice versa).

conservative, but politics aren't really a big part of my life

Yeah and their getting away with stuff in third world countries is way easier because third world countries all vote for trash politicians that won't institute any worker protections like European politicians do, and all of the activism and moral concern about this sort of thing outside of the actual problem areas comes from Europeans; and brown people only throw fits about the specific company that's putting the boot in their face, and only then once the boot is in their face.

It's not capitalism, it's just third world shit happening in third world places, voted in by third world people. Meanwhile, protectionist tarriffs are dismissed as nationalist boogeyman stuff but would prevent companies outsourcing and getting away with this, and somebody like you would never accept such an alleviation of this problem.

You've got no idea what you're talking about.

Latin America has an incredibly strong socialist and social democratic tradition because capitalism is so brutal. Even before the Cold War, politicians from this tradition who sought to enact the regulations you slam Latin Americans for not having were thrown out by the good ol' US of A. Once we found ourselves engaged in Cold War with the Soviets, we did just about everything possible to weaken the influence of worker's movements.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Condor

Our government propped up right-wing dictatorships all across Latin America which not only kept pro-Soviet candidates from taking office, but also preserved American business interests from being harmed by social democracy. People didn't vote for these fucking policies, they were enforced upon them by such governments. Today, no longer able to rely on capitalistic autocracies, corporations pour money into Latin American elections to influence the outcome and use their own private thugs to preserve their business interests.

fairly left

outsourcing isn't the problem

Latin America is valuable to corporations for the same reason Africa is -- its natural resources. Cheap labor is a huge bonus, but these jobs are intrinsically tied to the local environment.

Protectionist tariffs just stop industrial jobs from going to Asia and maybe Mexico at the cost of more expensive consumer goods. These tariffs are ineffective because most American manufacturing interests have already moved to Asia. There are increasingly few jobs to outsource. When American corporations desire to produce new products, Asian manufacture is a given.

These problems will exist as long as capitalism exists.

apolitical, but pragmatically think different systems work more-or-less better for different peoples, places, times. don't think there's an end-all political / ideological system/answer. loosely believe there is always an "order" / power though, that I loosely see as like a cosmic "kingdom"/empire essentially while at the same time feeling like children fumbling around in a strange ecosystem. not far from a Taoist paradoxical thing - somewhere between hippie and The Order / Tradition / Kingdom

I find it fucking hilarious that some idiots say conservativism is the new punk rock and yet half of the population is centre right of sorts

>right communist

Well, there's National Socialist of course (although some might argue it's more middle than right or left).

There's also of course the possibility of a kind of Christian and traditionalist socialism or communism. Like either a Christ-like hippie commune thing, or something quite traditional but interpreting Christian teaching as potentially supporting some aspects of socialism (not Marxist notions, necessarily, of course - it would need a whole different philosophy / metaphysics).

Ironically most of my favorite albums are Indie/IDM/Prog Rock but none of the artists who made them have made anything else I like

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left_communism

Left-wing communists are communists who reject the Soviet tradition. Left communists believe that the USSR was capitalist, because it had the state and wage labor. Leftcoms might call Marxist-Leninists "right-wing communists".

Leftcoms the least edgy commies but are generally very autistic and snooty. Their main idea is that only mass popular revolt can lead to socialism, and they oppose any kind of guerrilla violence in the name of communism.

communism is authoritarian because of the need to ban religion and capitalist views, anarcho marxism is left communism

What they're referring to is the almost total dominance, with a couple exceptions, of pretty far left ideas (at least socially left) dominating media, which you can't deny. Also, the pretty integral connection of globalist leftism to neoliberal expansionism.

Trump notwithstanding, that is still essentially the "establishment" as of this point, structure and media-wise, and whatever the numbers of people with somewhat more middle-right / slightly traditional values, such people are generally left without a voice in public discourse.

I agree it's lame to describe that as "punk" because "punk" was always a stupid idea based in opposition or antagonism / rebelliousness for the sake of itself, as if there is any inherent good in that.

It's just difference, which I'd say reactionaries are probably more accurate in asserting will never go away. Of course, the left claim to be for difference, but they actually don't tolerate dissenting opinions. It's pretty arguable that the progressive left can no longer be accurately described as "liberal" at this point.

Nazis aren't remotely communistic

They're not even socialists by any possible definition

globalism is not leftist. far left ideas dominating which media? the american media who equates universal healthcare to communism?

Media left is not real left anyway, you can say its totalitarian in a way, americans are not very pro free speech, everyone is just picking a side socially with no economic views outside of a capitalist system, basically the loudest groups are all authoritarian right wingers that use hate as arguments
Americans fucked themselves over

There's a stark distinction between globalism and globalization.

[I'm the guy you're responding to]
Don't most Marxists resent Sovietism anyway given it was just a bunch of power fiends hijacking the name to gull people under their thumbs? "Left-Communism" just seems redundant given true communism and Soviet and Soviet-Inspired "communism" all sits in the left quadrants, unless it was a term developed by the commies as their personal distancing term.

has there ever been a "left communist" government according to most left communists?
