because the immigrants were mostly women who got OLÉ'D when they arrived

no wonder their country is such a mez now

they sure are messi
haha

>EZ

i am greek

ArgentiniAN

Aren't there only like 30-40 Spanish last names?

ArgentiniANez

In general spanish surnames are much less diversified compared to the italian ones 2bh. Even Rossi isn't as common as García or Lopez.

Spanish surnames are always generic. A lot of italians surnames are unique to the family.

this got it right

Argentines love to pretend they're different. Which is also a spanish heritage thing, we do the same with >muh visigoth

Because the first family name is alway's the father's.

The Italian immigration was much more recent, no?

I want to see the porn

We are heavily influenced by visigoths when it comes to names though

how do you feel about neymar being the future goat, and giving you the 6th WC in 2018?

Still half of Argentina's population are italian descendants.

presidents candidates in argentina were italians descendent (Scioli,Massa,Macri)... italians are controlling our nacion, they are illuminatis... help us plssssssssss

lol that's probably why argentina is such a shithole now kek. Feels good, another utopian country destroyed by italians

Italy had colonies???

...

Goddamn there are more Italian Argentines than Italian americans?

That seems inconceivable considering the complete culture and language difference

>United States as an italian tributary state
>Brazil isn't one as well

eh

You guys don't have so much italian influence t.bh. They are mostly concentrated in the New England region, and that's it. Your immigrants mostly came from Germany and Ireland.
In Argentina, in other hand, Italy was the absolute main source of immigrants. I already went to Buenos Aires, and the city as a whole has a lot of italian influence.

Argentina is like Italy, this is why it is always bankrupted

WE

Because Spanish people inbreed a lot so most of them have the same surnames

Leaving that aside, it's because Argentina had a lot of immigrants of Spain(just like Italy), but ALSO there already were a lot of Spanish people here before the immigration, because, after all, this had been a Spanish colony. Even the Native Americans here have Spanish surnames.

why so few slavs?

I am an Italian descendant in denial. I have Spanish surname.

i preffer to be intalian anglo senpai

fuck wtf am i writing

i preffer to be italian than anglo

It happens. I'm italian descendant as well, but I have a portuguese surname from my mother... Still got my italian surname too.

Ahh so basically Italians there = Germans here

Except Germans didn't really add all that much culturally here

Must've been hard for those Italians to learn Spanish or Portuguese. The Italians here had a hard time learning English

This is the reason I think.

Those surnames are too common here.

(((russian))), (((polish))), ((austro-hungarian)))

I only know 4 Jewish families and 3 of them are from Argentina.

Imagine the following. Argentina had 2 million people in 1869, of those 2 million, about 1,8 million had Spanish surnames. That's about 90% of the population

After 1869, a lot of immigrants start to arrive. By early 20th century 50% of the population had been born outside this country. Of the 50% that had been born in Argentina, around 75% had Spanish surnames. That's 37,5% of the population. From the 50% that had been born outside of Argentina, 20% had been born in Spain, and thus also had Spanish surnames. That is another 10% of the total. So about 47,5% of the population of Argentina would have Spanish surnames.

Meanwhile, 25% of the 50% that had been born outside Argentina had been born in Italy. That's more than those born in Spain. That means, that a 12,5% of total population. And a 20% of those borns in Argentina had Italian surnames. That is a 10% of the total. This means that 22,5% of the population had Italian surnames.

47,5% of Spanish surnames vs 22,5% of Italian surnames. That meant that at the end, a lot of people with Italian surnames would eventually lose them because of intermarrying with people with Spanish surnames, who already were the majority of the country. So eventhough a lot of people in Argentina have Italian ancestry, not really all of them have Italian surnames.

Not really. Italian is very similar to Spanish and Portuguese

>no Tequilez
>no Mariachez
>no Saltofrontierez

fake data imo

I thought the whole reason Lunfardo exists is because Italians couldn't learn Spanish and had to create a 50/50 way to speak?

italo australian is much easier for us

I fucking hate tanos.

Maybe they didn't want to learn Spanish because they could communicate with SPanish speakers in Italian. I know because I've been in Italy myself and could speak Spanish and the Italians would understand me. I wouldn't understand Italians as well as they understood me though.

Pretty boring desu

That's basically an English speaker trying to sound Italian

Argentines/Uruguayans should all be killed, alongside their "gaúcho" brethren in Brazil. What a shitty """""""people"""""".

Only outside the peninsula.

shut up, nordestino/carioca.

How?

Meet me anytime, fag scum. I'd love to test your sissy chin.

What's life like in Northern Brazil?

*teleports behind you and stabs with facón*

I thought most Romance language speakers speak their native languages when they speak to each other?

Except French.

I live in Rio de Janeiro, m8. It's fine. Richer and less dangerous than south or north Brazil.

neymar is a worse pipoqueiro than messi

>all of them ending with -ez

that's slav tier

>Rio de Janeiro
>Less dangerous than anywhere in the world

*kill you with a single punch*
Shh, nothing personnel, kid.

What? All our surnames do not have the same suffix.

...

Do you want statistics, argie scum? I have them.

You will taste my blade before that (and my bolas)

-ez means easy
for example 1040-EZ is a federal tax form in a simplified format
specifically designed for the names like fernadez

>northern monkeys

You might as well be caribbean

Dumb hick, your entire life is about watching bovines eat grass while you drink """""""""""""""tea""""""""""" made of this same grass.

nah, they also smoke it. weed that is.

I forgot that they also smoke grass. Thanks for the reminder.

rio de janeirois the worst city of brazil lmao

Whatever makes you sleep at night, provincial scum.

>mfw brazilians love their portuguese ancestry
>Mfw argentinians hate their spanish ancestry
>Mfw feels good

Lusodescendants are the masterrace kf south america

>argentinians hate their spanish ancestry
wut?

We hate the Spanish because the disgusting Italian Argentine cucks wanted to make us believe that Italy was our real madre patria

is this a real pic? there is something about the color or contrast that it looks like a 3D render

>mexicans hate the Spanish
>White Americans like the British

I'm noticing a pattern here

>Mfw argentinians hate their spanish ancestry

have you not seen the memes?

What memes

Hmm, yes?

i struggle today

you filthy spainboo need to gtfo from my colony asap, k?

Hey bro, don't be rude with him, he's cool

Friendly reminder.

italy and spain are natural born enemies, no peace between us. Spanish oppression of italy will never be forgotten, every kid in italy is born with hatred for the spaniards.

You will not steal our south american colony.

that is right. my parents are portuguese and i am proud of it

t. el napolitANO

>Mfw argentinians hate their spanish ancestry
We make fun of Spain a lot but deep inside we are all willing to give our lives to the madre patria.

Based Luso-Brasileiro reporting in.
>tfw Trás-os-Montes master race
Feels good.

tfw luso-shitalian
the mastest of races

*ahem*, if you're anywhere in south brazil you disgusting joaos need to gtfo from there, that's italian clay

my brother

Spanish surnames have very little variety for some reason while this is not the case with Italian ones.

Fucking Rodríguez and González are everywhere.

>We make fun of Spain a lot but deep inside we are all willing to give our lives to the madre patria.
I really can't believe that

>argies prefer ethpana, 5pa1n, asspain over us

feels bad man

Italy never tries to make any connection with Argentina, unlike Spain. Italy is like the father who fucked his wife and then never came back home, which is sad because his child Argentina wants him to at least say hi and give him a hug.

>mfw the only nice place in South Brazil is an azorean city
Lmao, shitalians.

i thought italians companies were common here

Most Italians don't even think Argentina has any connection to Italy

well we have our own problems, but when italians and argentines meet, we're immediatly brotier, like long lost brothers

This is the foreign investment in argentina

is this a form of Italian bonding?

any Escobar here?
