What's my last name? Do I have a last name?
movies with mikey.
is there literally anything Sam Rockwell can't do?
MOMMY
Anyone have a gif of the alien getting zapped so you see its true form?
>tfw saw this in the theaters as a kid
>tfw suddenly realize how old I am
He couldn't save Iron Man 2 from being a piece of shit
I only realized recently that that's sigourney weaver
NEVER GIVE UP
>90% on RT
>on netflix
should I, Sup Forums?
>that deleted scene where she distracts the aliens with her tits so they get crushed by that wall
you couldn't even get that scene filmed in this day and age
...
of fucking course
Ok neat, for some reason I thought it was bad like Mars Attacks or Lost in Space.
also why has no one made a cinegrid of Galaxy Quest?
lazy ass anons
fuck no
It makes those movies look like dogshit
those 2 movies are based. are you a butt hurt martian or something?
It's pretty good, and I don't even watch Star Trek
don't even compare those movies to Galaxy Quest
I think it's funny JJ Abrams loves this movie, even calling it the best Star Trek film, and he can't something half as good. The script in Galaxy Quest should be taught in film school for how well done it is. Everyone has something to do, they have some emotional arc to fulfill, and it doesn't rely on the action. Saris and Tim's big fight is Saris making Taggart explain he's a lying fraud. I mean it's a simple story, but it's told so well. It manages to make fun of Star Trek and it's fans, while also being reverent of it and what it means to those fans. A lot of movies "for the fans" treat them shit, or just jerk them off incessantly. Hell, even people who don't watch Star Trek like this movie. It's perfect in all the ways it attempts to be.
Mars Attack is great, fuck everyone who says otherwise
mars attacks is god tier though.

This scene kills me every single time
how long did it take you realize you are underage b&?
...
just checking
Do it for Sig.
Look around you, can you form some sort of rudimentary lathe?
The fuck are you waiting for. I actually watched it on Netflix a few months ago for the first time in forever. Still holds up amazingly.
But I am.
if already, then you shouldn't even post here
of course you should
right now
Mars Attacks doesn't have 1/10th of the wit or charm of Galaxy Quest.
And Lost in Space is absolute forgettable shit.
>watched it on Netflix a few months ago for the first time
>for the first time
>first time
confirmed for underage b&
This whole thread is ironic, right?
This is a pretty accurate summary
It's amazing how well the movie holds up now and how endearing everything still manages to be
Galaxyquest is one of the all time greats of satire
Did you even read the whole sentence?
>unironically hating Galaxy QUest
pls be b8
>I forgot LC

Galaxy Quest sequel with TNG-style cast when.
JJ can't write a good script to save his life, and he certainly isn't capable of even half the clever ideas that went into Galaxy Quest
something happened in the early 2000s where all the good writers left Hollywood to pursue other careers.
is this true should i google it?
I'd give anything for a Galaxyquest series but st the same time I don't think it would work as a series
It's a conflicting set of emotions
>memories are coming back
>summer
>user asks if he should watch a movie
>
whats with you people and series?
Prolonged access to the enjoyment of something you enjoy watching?
they ran out of bingewatch material
>you people
you racist
you mean draining the life out of something?
It's still the best Star Trek movie ever made
perfect description of your regular Friday night
Sorry. I meant the u people. I've been looking for them for a long time. They live underground, you see. That's where the U comes from. They're hard to find, but if you find one, it is tasty.
Sup Forums loving Galaxy Quest means so much to me for some reason.
It's such a good wholesome movie.
The soundtrack is sincerely one of my favorite ever too.
I find myself wishing it was a real show that we could watch many seasons of episodes from. You know what I mean?
I guess these scenes from the movie are all we'll ever have. And that's alright.
>alan rickman has been dead for a year
>Edgar Wright writes and directs the remake of the eponymous film Galaxy Quest 20 years later
Who will star in the inevitable reboot?
If there is a god this will not happen
>co-written by simon pegg
How can you not want to adventure in space hearing this?
youtube.com
>reboot GalaxyQuest
take your own life
This. Not even trying to exaggerate but GalaxyQuest is a timeless movie. It was done perfectly and it hasn't aged at all. It helps that all the music is original and the only pop culture references are to other timeless things like classic scifi television.
I suppose the nerd kids and their 1990s computers and the lack of smart phones might show the film's age but that's really it.
in a mongolian yak herding forum where everyone is crazy about a crap show set in the 80's the 90's computer wont be a problem.
plsno
>starring Wil Wheaton as Tim Allen
>everyone is crazy about a crap show set in the 80's
?
>late 90s Siggy will never give you a god-tier blowjob
Life is suffering
It's funny that him being in a reboot would be horrific but he would've been a decent casting choice in the original
...
john williams would have been jealous
>you remember that alan rickman is dead
...
This entire movie is all around solid.
It's so good. You just love watching it.
Still haven't seen it, still convinced its shit.
I loved him as Dr. Lazarus, Snape and Gruber.
RIP
By Grabthar's hammer, what a savings.
>you couldn't even get that scene filmed in this day and age
My favorite Sup Forums meme
It's not
You're shit.
The best Star Trek movie for fans and non-fans alike.
