Without further ado...

Without further ado, here is the long-awaited 2017 edition of the Patrician Council's famed essentials chart (rock & pop edition).

Jazz, art and traditional music editions on their way.

every time you make this chart it keeps getting worse

If you're the real CLT, what infamous incident occurred that led everyone to believe you were dead for months?

Or you keep getting more plebeian. My money's on the latter.

A larger-than-intended dose of the ol' H2O2.

Very pleased to see the correct Dirty Three album in there

>Rolling Stones

Dadrock. REEEEE

Replace LTIA with Islands and you're golden. Breddy gud chart besides that, though.

nice seeing Pere Ubu and Gastr Del Sol on there, I love your posts

if you are looking for some hippity hop similar to cLOUDDEAD, you guys should hear Coin Locker Kid, he's p much the most experimental kid in the game right now

what's going to be on the traditional music chart?

I was all set to shit on this, but then I saw Tarentel, Dirty Three, Penguin Cafe...

S'good.

anybody want to take bets on how bad the jazz version is going to be?

jesus christ dude. so many of my favorites on there. did you steal my taste?

Where are the Thinking Fellers

>its just krautrock and scarufficore
man...

>being this wrong with the nico album pick

i keked. desertshore is the pinnacle of avant garde folk.

all scaruffi 8's

There's a fresh repress of The Marble Index at a bookstore down the street from me. I've never listened to anything from her outside of banana.
What do?
Also good to have you back CLT.

>patriciancore
>all Sup Forumscore

spot the newfag

>penguin cafe orchestra
nice, pic related might (should) find a place here

I'm not impressed.

I think I'm growing out of music.

I could unironically assemble something vastly superior in 20 minutes if I wanted to.

>Rock and Pop Edition

I'd love to see how pleb the Jazz chart is, you stupid avant teen

Ocean Songs isn't far behind, but it's been a patriciancore staple since 2011 and I felt it was time for a change.

I hold "dadrockers" in much lower contempt than plebeians who listen to godawful dreck like Green Day or Fall Out Boy. The Rolling Stones are one of the greatest bands of the 60s.

>Islands
Great album. Best from their symphonic period for sure.

Thanks, I'll check him out.

You should look into Red Krayola if you haven't. They worked with both the artists you mentioned.

I'm pretty sure I've included them in the past but they didn't quite make the cut this time.

(not true, by the way)

They're both great. What's the issue?

Are you guys all so new you don't know CLT?
jeez summer is here

>dogbowl
>hcti
>soldier talk
>mirror man
>bad moon rising
nice additions

judge my chart CLT

hell o drop

oh shit hey, how's plug looking?

Hmmm... not bad but could use more poste-rocke
Storm & Stress - s/t should appeal to fans of improvisational rock and Scaruffites.

>no Ke$ha

shit list

>between the buttons

this song destroys me

lol, of course lets pick one of the least critically acclaimed Gentle Giant album to be "patrician". Admit it - it' doesn't get any better than Octopus and In A Glass House.

Lmao most of this is shit

Stop impersonating clt

Idk,

No Alice Coltrane or Butthole Surfers just makes this feek like patriciancore chart in the making. It's incomplete imho

>Take Scaruffi 8+ scores

>Put them in chart

>Pepper with a few other random records that have minor avant-garde elements

>Patrician-core

Lol.

yikes

>memerap, Nico, and Bjork
You're not the real Richard Jacobson.
