god

I don't know, talk to me guys

So in a scenario that I am currently I've released a new piece of work which I'm fooling myself is something else, something new in my catalog. Yet somehow this ain't a piece which I find all that great. On the flip side I want to make something new, something outside of the ambient genre. Maybe mix some pop aesthetic with contemporary classical music feel with the piano playing and such. However I do feel like it's not going to work due to "reasons" and overall lack of talent/luck/skill.

What to do anons?

That was so deep you even got a dubs for it :^)

It's hard to "try and fail" when you're singing about your previous relationship so goddamn much.

Recs:

I keep forgetting RYM exists. Curiously one of the really negative reviews someone left about me was deleted, which is a shame since it was a 5 paragraph write up on why I'm terrible.

Reccing this. I really like the vocals and the distant effect that makes them meld so well with the music.

This feels comfy to me.

me
I like your voice, and the minimalism on this
The other night I listened the whole album, it's great, I love the textures, I'm dig into this
classic rec, waiting for new stuff from you

I feel like you really could pull it off, but if you really feel like it won't work, just practice and fuck around (with the idea of your composition and what you can do with your idea).

As for the new work, from personal experience I've released stuff I've hated (ex. Nerve Parasite) and people have liked it. Just wait a while and see the general reception of it

Experiment anyway, there's no harm in seeing where it goes. I actually did the same thing. I mean, it didn't work, but I still tried.

Who's is this semen demon?

Did you feel that great about it or the ideas behind it in the first place?

Not a rude question I hope, a serious one about inspiration

I think so, yeah. The regrets came after releasing that demo because before that I kind of wanted to make something like this. Then again I was without any sleep when recording so who the hell knows.

do it user. You sound like someone who makes music out of serious emotions. Someone like you should definitely do what you feel like. There is a high chance you will end up making something you are really really proud of. Get more sure about the idea and the overall sound though.

Well, hey. It's out there for a month, and then the only people who have it are the ones who still care to listen to it.

Anyways

I wanted to do recs but can't atm, fine me later

Yeah but I'm talking in general terms because I think I want to make more of it. Even though this particular release is a one month afair it's not like I don't want to make something more or less permanent.
Worrisome would be a fact if such angst would unfold also on the future ambient releases

Yeah, I see where you're coming from, thank you by the by.
