Every single report of explosion is blown out of proportion.

When you are using rated batteries and a regulated device you'll never have a problem. Much like your phone or power drill. Now if you buy a cheap battery from China and use a mech mod and are dumb and hold the fire button down then the battery will short, and eventually, vent. Normally venting is an expulsion of heat and fire from some point on the battery. Not an explosion. However, when this venting occurs in a mech mod with no vents then an extreme amount of pressure builds and it's basically a pipe bomb.

Don't let big tobacco and msm scare you from vaping. It is safe unless you're retarded

i think most of the explosions occur with mods and improper usage (wrong V, w, ohm...)
Thats why i still use pencil-like batteries, mouth to lung hits, and high ohm coils. Sure, less vapor, but i like the taste and high niccotine.
Also, i mix 10pct "cheese cake" flavor juice, that smells like what others describe as sweaty feet, and i blow that shit in crowded areas.

you can buy cheap parts but for batteries you should invest some money
