>Yes, Data the BBC. It seems to be some sort of ancient earth crime syndicate. In some strange anomaly it seems our actions are being recorded and cast back to this "BBC2" on Saturday nights some time in the early 90's.

What would betray a human-made AI?

Would a construct that had the entirety of a human language 'uploaded' to their memory as opposed to 'learning' it have unique speech quirks? It would probably speak like a dictionary and use impeccable grammar. Have trouble parsing ambiguous statements and understanding idioms and colloquialisms. Contextual awareness seems like something that would require experience rather than something that could be described clearly in a linguistic rule.

>"Ah, I see. It would appear Counselor Troi has an avid appreciation for such programming. Just the other day I overheard her remarking to the Klingon delegation in Ten Forward that she 'cannot get enough of that BBC'."

British Broadcasting Company? Am I missing something?

Sorry senpai, I need a look at your credentials.
