As more information comes to light that "The Donald" may not be exactly who we think he is, I can't help but think that he has been selected for a reason. That reason is the coming collapse of the global economy, and perhaps other planned disasters be it terror attacks, pandemics, etc.
He is certainly an interesting character, and by no means do I support any of the other clowns in the running so I am indifferent on the candidates. Donald seems to be the perfect leader to bring in a more authoritarian tyrannical regime to respond to coming calamity.

There's a difference between authoritarian and tyrannical. Authoritarian isn't bad. If you like to cause problems, dysfunction and chaos then authoritarians will deal with you harshly. Everyone else will be left alone. It's for example authoritarian to crack down on riots.
