Is the Dark Wave show on SiriusXM worth listening to? I'm a pleb when it comes to this stuff.

Wouldn't know myself, sorry user.

Does anyone have The Naked and the Dead EP?

youtu.be/YlplU6Dh_e0

youtu.be/dYKSqXy8JYg

>tfw love Love Like Blood but don't know if the rest of their discography is the same
Is it worth it /dark/? I liked The Sisters of Mercy's albums but for Killing Joke that's the track that just makes it to heaven

Any of you guys fuck with Club Moral? I can't really find shit about them anywhere but some of their songs popped up in my YT recommended section and they're not bad

>youtube.com/watch?v=-f4i4V5nQDs

Also, anyone know if these guys were actually nazis/fascists? Or if they were just playing around with the aesthetic like a ton of other bands did?

why aren't you listening to the new death in rome song, /dark/

Industrial/noise/hip-hop from Norway. It's basically what I was expecting/wanting Dalek to sound like.
Reminiscent of Corrections House in some ways.

NYP on Bandcamp

i like his work a lot. Enjoy.

SHE'S GOT A BLACK SHIRT, BLACK SKIRT...

What does /dark/ think of Porl King? He was responsible for Rosetta Stone and then moved onto Miserylab and In Death It Ends.

I really like IDIE and Rosetta Stone but I don't see much discussion of their material, or much of a consensus on him as an artist.

Not a big fan of rosetta stone.

How come?

Also here's a depressive/dark folk project I heard on a radio show years ago. Very solid stuff.

I was going to post material from Book of Wisdom, which was an industrial/dark ambient project from the early-mid 90's but their material is almost impossible to find on youtube, at least the material I wanted to share. I'm most familiar with their 2005 album "Ultra" which is more conventional in terms of having a more concrete structure and actual "songs" instead of tracks full of texture and atmosphere.

/dark/noob here,
do you have something simila to this one?
youtube.com/watch?v=CpXdQ44_EiI

The late 80s/early 90s french scene would probably be right up your alley.

I find Brighter Than A Thousand Suns to be a really underrated album. Dunno if it's your thing but a lot of the whole album is themed around apocalypse. A lot of fans of the bands other work don't like it but I find the reverb heavy and synth drenched mix really nice. Has a nice dark aura.

Their sound doesn't gel with me as much for whatever reason.

As compared to what? I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just interested in your perspective.

also, chelsea apparently posted some ass the other day.
>inb4 banned

Other goth rock acts in general, I love goth music but for a reason I can't pin down Rosetta Stone is a group I find lacking to my interests. The same goes for ass and Chelsea Wolf.

>go to every post-punk concert to meet people with similar tastes
>I'm the only one younger than 50

That's why I take my gf.

lebanon hannover a shit

Sounds like you're in deep with a girl but she's out of her mind...

Nice shit right here. Do you have anything else?
Compilation/playlist are appreciated too.

I'm trying to find older /dark/ threads for the charts but the oldest one in the archive is from May?

KYS, Blink sucks and isn't even /dark/.

Goddamn...

Good to see that /dark/ has risen again.

Here's a witch house influenced gem, GRYPT:

Nice grooves. I would love to see them live. Any L.A. citizens here who can give some reports?

I'd like to smack dat ass. She's still in Berlin?

B-but at least they're keeping the tradition alive, right?

That's definitely a problem for /dark/: The influx of fresh meat is way too low to keep 'the scene' young. Of course, it's not as extreme when you attend /dark/ events in bigger cities like Berlin.

>In Death It Ends
Gets boring after listening a few times.

>ywn see Gary Marx-era SoM live

youtube.com/watch?v=IUobcaa5gs0

Why live?

You mean related to the artists I linked? Check out Asylum Party if you haven't yet, also google "touching pop," as that's the name of the movement/scene these french artists were part of.

I did find a compilation, actually a series of compilations, related to french /dark/ music, but tracking them via the usual methods is proving difficult. I'm downloading them right now, I'll try to upload them and have them posted in one of the upcoming /dark/ threads.

IDIE isn't really the most stimulating stuff but I like it every once in a blue moon, usually while getting hammered and playing vidja

Probably. I found a lot of /dark/ stuff I like by using internet radio stations over the last 10 years so I imagine a paid dj would have a decent selection.

Well, I will explore the artits you linked by myself.
That "touching pop" tip is great, tho.

Thanks for the effort, mate.
Looking forward to it.

>B-but at least they're keeping the tradition alive, right?
That's about all they are good for.
