very much so. all of their albums are fantastic, as is the solo work of the two principle members
Love the Lightning Bolt, Megadeth, and Dinosaur Jr albums.
Like the Bob Dylan and Syd Barrett albums.
Haven't heard the rest. Any recommendations for my taste?
Love Bad Brains, Pixies, Modest Mouse, X, Venom, Dinosaur Jr, and Pink Floyd.
Dislike Sublime. Never could get into them.
Also, how are you guys making the templates? I'm too drunk to think too much tonight.
Alternately you can use topsters.net
which sonic youth album should I listen to first?

David S. Ware - Flight of I
Pangaea is pretty good, but I still prefer Agharta. You ever listened to "Live At The Fillmore East (March 7, 1970)"? 1969-1970 is a pretty exciting period in Miles Davis' discography.
>i was only pretending to be retarded
there's literally no discernible difference, it's still exclusively Sup Forums-approved (tm) fotm crap.
lurk more, guy. develop your own taste instead of getting spoonfed. Don't be afraid to try new stuff.

MY BOI
Is that Devil's Blood demo any good? I have a soft spot for occult rock. Also, I love Sabbath Assembly.
Ghost (Japan). Nice.
tbqh it's the only thing I've heard of theirs and I like it a lot.
if you're into occult rock, check out year of the goat if you haven't done so already.
what do you think of Sabbath assembly's more recent work? I've had a hard time getting into their material post-Jex.
I haven't listened to their latest album, but their other post-Jex material is just kind of ehhhh. I don't hate the newer albums, but I also don't make listening to them a priority. Ye Are Gods was still pretty good though, since it stuck to the whole cult hymn shtick. Restored to One is and will probably remain their high point though. They were way better before they started trying to get heavy.
I haven't listened to Awaken, My Love yet cause I heard it isn't a masterpiece but damn if Redbone and Me and Your Mama aren't great tunes
jazz jazz jazz jazz baby baby baby
that Bleach album cover is really ugly tbqh
Yeah, the cover is awful. It's a good album though. Amazing bass. That Shakti album is great btw. It's been a long time since I've listened to it, but I dig it.
>Amazing bass
That does sound spicy. I have the album in my library but haven't checked it out yet. Gotta do sometime.
>That Shakti album is great btw
Ye, really intense stuff. Gotta love intense and passionate music.
That's exactly how I feel. The doom aspect was never what drew me to them and it's only felt more alienating as they progress. I wonder what Jex is up to these days, her last record (Blood Moon Rise) was really good.
YAG is an interesting record, as it has at least one demo track from before RTO was recorded It almost feels like it was thrown together during the transition between vocalists to fulfill some kind of obligation.
great stuff

Don't worry user, just because you like "Sup Forums approved" stuff doesn't mean you're a drone. I'm relatively new on the board, and I've been into a lot of those bands before I knew they were Sup Forums-core. The reason they are is because they are actually really good. So just be you. You don't have to like pretentious shit to impress people on the board. Just listen to what you enjoy.
