This could have been prevented, Sup Forums,
>COULD HAVE.

At least they'll have all that free weed they can now smoke as homeless people.

Not even a peep about the guy who died.

Fuck this feminist shithole and how fast do you have to be going to burst into flames when you hit something.

>oh no some greasy oil rigger or drug addict in Fort MacFirehole died

I like Alberta, but Fort Mac can get wiped out for all I care. The education/literacy levels in Canada would rise overnight.

>muh no education and no savings
>muh lifted truck
>muh unemployed when oil dropped and it's back to Ontario into moms basement.

Subhumans.

Is this weedman's New Orleans?

who will oppose him, Sup Forums?

Good now those tasteless faggots using this tragedy as a boasting point for how much more civilized canada is can eat a dick.

If you put out the fire, it wins.

What Canada's still blazing? Jesus anyone got a map of Tue damage?

Joker syndrome.
Young woman dies? Terrible tragedy.
Young man dies? Business as usual.

Entire streets of homes are gone.

I wish I didn't have to work today. Anyone kinda wish their life would be disrupted a little?

Literally the most skilled people of industry in Canada working on the most expensive equipment in Canada I know this might blow your mind but Cocaine was and still is the CEO drug for a reason. Sherlock Holmes was an intervenous user FFS.

>TFW Canada is smoking out the US

In other news, convoys of evacuees are finally heading to Edmonton from the work camps north of Ft. Mac, lead by RCAF choppers and escorted by RCMP.

What's the news since last night? first I'm seeing of any directly fire-related deaths, last was death count of 2, 2 people who crashed their cars around conklin

Most people would probably opt for a stimulant if their job required them to stay alert for 36 hours at a time while making 400k a year.

Underrated, kek

>be Canadian
>entire town burns down for no reason
>

>Weather still not really cooperating
>Fire is over 100k hectares now, but it's mostly burning bush which is good
>Anzac and surrounding communities were evacuated last night as the fire approached but no reports of homes lost
>Almost 7000 evacuees were flown out of the work camps to the north in the past two days
>Today, as long as hwy 63 remains clear, they hope to escort just as many (or more) south in huge vehicle convoys
>Oilsands production has dropped by almost 1m barrels but so far the price of oil is holding
>This will be the most expensive disaster in Canadian history, with early estimates coming in around $5-6B and some as high as $9B

>Be Californian
>Half the state burns down every other year

we on a marathon sesh my dude fukkin hotboxxin the continent haha like smoke 'em if you got 'em

this could have been prevented.

>100k hectares

>why Sup Forums hates canada

the post

Thanks user

jesus that estimate. Slave Lake was only $700mil, this is gonna be difficult.

t. Toronto

This board makes me sick. I hope all of you die in a fire you fucking faggots. Have some respect. Fucking teens and if you aren't you are acting like one. Congrats.

Yup. For comparisons sake, Slave Lake was about 400 structures destroyed and over 700 homeless. The city of Ft. Mac's estimate (as of nearly two days ago) was 1600 structures destroyed. It's a mess. About the only good news on that front is that quite a lot of people still have homes (or family) in other parts of the province and country to go to.

it went from 10k to 85k in one day

Americans can't into hectares.

It's just shy of 400sq mi. (1000 sq km)

Bammpo of freshly burnt leaf

Yes it has a typo. No it wasnt me.
