>Regal - Acid is the Answer
>Techno, UK Hard House
This would have been great 20 years ago, in some heated, crowded rave tucked away in a restless city. Boring to hear alone, and very predictable.

>Ulver - Teachings in Silence
>Dark Ambient, Glitch
The first track: Melodramatic, but that's a given since it's Ulver. Endearing and somewhat comfy, even considering that this is a metal band doing electronic work. A little silly, considering that they straight up sample a hard drive and have a somber piano and a jazz organ(?) at one point. The usage of vocals two thirds into the song was a good idea.
The Silencing the singing part of this compilation reminds me more of slowcore, with the real instrumentation and melodic bases for each song-- the glitchiness seems to just be thrown on top of it. Wasn't the worse thing, though.

>Atraxia - The Unexplained: Electronic Musical Impressions of the Occult
>Progressive Electronic
A really strange and engaging album from the same guy who made Plantasia, one year before that album was released. A combination of Dungeon Synth, space rock, and classical composition all appear on this album full of surprises. The activity of the songs really do play to many genres outside of Electronic; this is not just an Ambient album.

>wished bone - psuedio recordings
>lo-fi folk
Very comfy, if very derivative folk songs with a distant female singer. The melodies are very familiar for sitting on the porch during a warm evening-- it easily cements some alteration of that memory in a listener. Doesn't quite excel anywhere else, musically or lyrically. Didn't quite get the closer, as well.
