I recorded an hour of a few of my closest friends and I very drunkenly very personally talking about sex and relationships, we were pretty bored and had some recording equipment
Really though this is the least pleasant thing to listen to, on the level of that Peter Soros Buyer's Market release. I managed for like half an hour, there were some parts where someone looked up porn and was talking about it that I cut out, and still some fairly serious content, but it was generally pretty funny, second half hour I gave up editing though because it had me like pic related
No one should ever listen to this thing and no one will, but I wonder if there's much out there in this genre
Really fucking uncomfortable/incriminating spoken word general
>tfw would have nothing to contribute to that conversation
Chase Morris
Nooooooo
I do feel a bit like I possess something that would rock the genre, but the thing is, the only skill required for that genre is having no sense of shame, and I'd rather hone my other skills and move away from that bit by bit. I have no obligation to the idae of underground notoriety.
Tyler Foster
I guess the other thing is, I'm not sure if it would rock the genre or it's just soooo uncomfortable hearing yourself and your friends talk about this stuff. This is the stuff you feel uncomfortable thinking about or feel weird about your friends thinking. The touchy issues... It's probably pretty universal (well... to an extent) but it's really fucking difficult to listen to especially when it's you
Hunter Green
Release if trips
Jacob Carter
>787
Nathaniel Turner
What other music would be in this genre though?
Hunter Ross
change the sound of the voices so they're unidentifiable, then put it over some dark ambient music and release it you fag. youtube.com/watch?v=M11GHqxkxKM
Jeremiah Lee
Take the least embarrasig parts and mix it with some ambient/drone.
Kayden Lopez
I feel like if I kept the first part it'd feel like it built up and then nothing happened, but I honestly can't keep any of the second part, it's just non stop. the topic itself is too taboo, it's just unusable.
Actually it might be rather therapeutic to just delete this project. Actually that's a fair artistic move. Doing that now.
Also it would save a lot of space
Oliver Harris
Whatever man. I feel like art should push boundaries, but do what you feel is best.
Austin Reyes
I've decided there's no value in publicizing/documenting/identifying with my insecurities, hypocrisies and grossness. The last of those is actually an interesting question though. Anyway, art's in the process. The process of this is now done. Try it sometime, though, maybe
Adrian Roberts
>I recorded an hour of a few of my closest friends and I very drunkenly very personally talking about sex and relationships >I'm not sure if it would rock the genre
Carson Green
You can't just come in here bragging about your sick and twisted audio then refuse to let us hear it and say you're going t delete it. Don't be a fag dude. Pitch shift the vocals and release it.
Andrew Thomas
pointless thread saged
Michael Barnes
scrape a guitar string over it and hit some pots and pans and you'd have a great release
Michael Davis
>having shame >wanting to release something cool and raw You're doing it wrong.
Hunter Wood
OP you HAVE to release the whole thing. There are many anons who would really appreciate it and it sounds really exciting. Don't worry about shame. Anyone interested in field recordings won't judge you like that, and no one outside of that sphere is going to listen to it. You don't need to edit it to try and hide things, only edit it for what artistically works. All great art is brave.
Dominic Cox
What's so taboo about sex and relationships, did one of your friends rape someone?
Lucas Peterson
what a fucking shitty thread
Hunter Howard
Oh you are so filtered
Nathaniel Harris
Put The First Matter after Thief Remove The Wait of the World
Logan Price
>remove treefingers >insert fast track >make in limbo less muddy
Cameron Baker
Replace Molly w/ Love Will Conquer All
Bentley Diaz
>remove Thank You >replace with studio version of Only I Can Hear, Only I Can Touch >get rid of the false fade in Gang >add studio version of Red Sheet between Stay Here and Big Strong Boss
Ian Moore
So, you made a thread just to say you made a really weird thing and then you refuse to post it? Like, wtf is the point lmao
Noah Parker
Not a whole lot of incriminating spoken word out there, buddy. That being said, I'm very interested in this recording.
Nathaniel Butler
>I proclaim that I am an artist on the Internet when I don't have a basic understanding of what art is about
Gavin Lewis
You can't top the pseudo, just post your shitty rendition of buyers market
Parker Stewart
So anons if someone with a spine were to do something like this, should I post it here? This sounds like something I'd like to experiment with
Oliver Williams
Yes
Justin Cox
Is there really that much interest in the lives of other people in such a raw way? I never thought someone would actually want to listen to something like friends telling the intimacies of things like their sex life. What are other things that people would want to hear about? I dunno this concept is new to me.
Ayden Gray
there are people who make money by talking about their sex life, there's no reason not to post it. it might be your only chance to make a meaningful artistic contribution
Jason Thompson
What is the point of this thread? Attention whoring? Nobody gives a fuck about your high school problems dude.
Adam Clark
Basically
Chase James
How is it not interesting?
Tyler Reyes
I'm not saying it isn't on just want to know what is it that people want to hear and experience the most
