it's really not about being alone. in fact i really value the time i have to myself to explore my hobbies and passions. but human beings crave intimacy and romance and it can be pretty disheartening feeling to spend your life deprived of them.

however i do have a handful of meaningful relationships with others that i am quite grateful for. laughter among friends is one of life's greatest pleasures.
