Do you rank Carrick?
Do you rank Carrick?
always did
>needing some no-name to give you space to dab
yes
How will he be remembered though? Nobody remembers Nicky Butt.
He's world class whenever he's not in the team
He is and always was mediocre. Ferguson was a genius, somehow building championship winning teams with a bunch of mediocre players like Carrick, Butt, Park, Nani etc. getting them to play way above their natural level. It's like he actually convinced them that they are good. Football placebo. Magician.
Now that he's gone those that were left were exposed for being, you guessed it, mediocre.
you're really dumb if you can't see that carrick is several levels more talented than the likes of butt, park and nani
United's best midfielder at the moment
Fuck you guys, Butt was quality. Just look how many games he played for United and England while company against great players at the same position.
people who don't rate carrick but rate memes like biscuits and kroos need to die tbqh
Nani literally carried Portugal to a European Championship title, you're a faggot m8.
not even Butt's mom thinks he was good
yeah, and Owen was the biggest talent in world football in the late 90's, England was a sure favorite at every tournament since 1966... fucking brit delusion.
Carrick's midfielder version of Heskey.
>Carrick
>Butt
>Park
>mediocre
wow fuck off Poland you need another plane crash for your president
of course they were mediocre. I can't believe there are people who think fucking Nicky Butt was a good player. Do you only watch EPL?
None of those players would play in truly great teams of their time like Madrid, Barca or Milan. They're Christian Brocchi, Flavio Conceicao tier.
I guess you haven't seen UCL 1998-99, Butt had a great european season and actually mattered a lot in that final and the whole cup.
Had a spot on the pitch for every game after that and had a great career in ManU, what the fuck are you even on about?
Are you here to replace the slovak who talks shit about ManU?
Thats not Herrera
all I remember when I think about Nicky Butt's european performances is United getting all fired up for their game against Juve in 1996 only for that retard to get confused by technically superior dribblers and concede a penalty right of the bat and how Zidane wiped the pitch with him in 2003 at Bernabeu
1999 CL was one giant luck. Inter waster like literally 7 100% chances at Old Trafford, Bayern hit the post and the bar in the final... sure, bad finishing, but not a very good job from Butt and his "not mediocre" friends at stopping (not to mention outplaying) his opponents, no?
But that's english football for you. Because of dramatic finals few people remember (or want to rememeber) that ManUtd 1999 and Liverpool 2005 were just as lucky and inferior to their opponents as Chelsea in 2012. Only truly deserved, truly the best that season CL win was ManUtd 2008, but that was mostly because all teams from the continent were shit that season. As Milan 2007 and Barca 2009 showed all it takes is one good european team in-form to lay waste to chaotic, brutish british rugby/football fusion.
does anyone outside of england even know who he is?
lol no
I like Fletcher more but Carrick is good
But come Xabi 80 caps? Come on now, Carrick never played good against Barcelona a Spanish team because he seemed out of his element
Gabi is a great midfielder and he hasn't seen even seen 1 cap
my brother has been a customer for two decades, he's always talking about how underappreciated he is.
I rate all three of them tßh.
can you call him a customer then kick him in the nuts for me?
>english team does well
>everyone else was shit
>english team does badly
>it just goes to prove how shit they are
I recognize good luck from ManU in 99, but they still pressured and pushed on, had many passes in Bayern's box and even got some good chances.
Now Liverpool turning the whole final around in 2005 was not luck fuck off, Chelsea had a great final and semis too.
But you're just gonna say it was refball.
...
Manchester won because of the tactical substitutions SAF made and even Kahn has acknowledged this
Crazy how they got away win the trophy even when some of their best starters were suspended
Yes Sheringham and Solskjaer were excellent substitutions.
But Bayern still had 2 shots that hit the woodwork.
2005 final was not luck?
In the first half Milan had Sheva goal disallowed. It wasn't offside because the "pass" actually came from Liverpool's defenders tackle on Kaka, not from Kaka himself.
Before Livers second goal assisant raised his flag for offside. The ref didn't stop the play and Liverpool scored.
Gerrard dived for the penalty.
ManUtd in 1999 was, dead serious, worse team than each their opponent. Barca, Inter, Juve, Bayern, they all played better. But that's football...
Chelsea 2012 didn't have great anything, Barca missed a penalty and even some tap ins in the first leg. If they had to play against each other 100 times Barca would rape them at least 90 of those. Same for Liver 2005 and Utd 1999.
he's 6'3 19 stone, it would be a bad idea.
>ManUtd in 1999 was, dead serious, worse team than each their opponent.
>still went through and won the UCL
k
>le backroom boy meme
let's just forget the >moyes and lang baal years because customers defeted mighty zorya and on the roll of beating palace and wba
So Portugal was the best team this year? Greece in 2004? That's football, you can play spectacular, brilliant, inspired football from another planet and still lose after missing 10 chances and your opponent getting some lucky goal from counter/corner.
But certain teams, like Netherlands 1974 and Brazil 1982 are still remembered for their brilliance even if they lost. They won the people, they won our hearts.
United? Liverpool? Chelsea? They're the villains.
>They won the people, they won our hearts.
>United? Liverpool? Chelsea? They're the villains.
k
you're an argie shouldn't you hate english and their football?
Fair enough
Yeah I probably hate them for Malvinas.
Doesn't mean I shouldnt like their football, I've been watching ManU since 2000 fullblown customer, but born here Im a fan of River Plate
who is the best player in the argie league, who you would like to see at man u?
inb4 tevez
>defeted
Learn English before you try to insult based Carrick. Opinion discarded
For River Plate I would like to see Alario or Driussi as they are growing to be good strikers here, maybe they would get a good treatment there and Zlatan would give them good experience.
But PSG already got LoCelso, I seriously think Kranevitter would be really good for ManU he did really great here in River, but I dont think Sevilla would let him go.
Sebastian Blanco is good, Mancuello too, but argies havent been too good for ManU seeing Heinze, Veron and Tevez.
The latter got the UCL but had a sour leave.
As a lifelong customer i always rated carrick
1999 United wasn't that bad they played some good and complete teams leading up to the finals
They just looked like trash during the finals because most key players were suspended
I do
hey mate your brother said he was going to beat you up, should probably sort him out
Ill take him out back.
