Is there any way to actually stop the horrors in Syria?

Is there any way to actually stop the horrors in Syria?

Any western intervention would be a catastrophe like the Gulf Wars, and possibly cause WW3, no matter what side wins, they will end up massacring whatever remains of the other side in the end, and even accepting refugees en mass only delays the problem.

It just feels so sad that there is nothing we can do.

>Is there any way to actually stop the horrors in Syria?
Yea, ignore them.

Stop sending sarin to the rebels for example.

what are you intending to stop? I don't like Russia or Assad but the rebels could have just used the chemical weapons themselves to furthen their cause... do you think they wouldn't? the strongest and the biggest rebel group in syria is an al-qaida affiliate, heard that from BBC this morning

no

Send them here. We want to dilute the pajeet blood but replacing it with afghani blood is worse

stop trying to topple the internationally recognized government

For the opposition to win and ethnically cleanse the alawites, or the inverse. The conflict has been so drawn out by world powers because its conclusion strikes us as more horrific than its continuation.

It doesn't really matter who did it. Hundreds of people died, out of hundreds of thousands in the whole war.

>trying to stop the whole conflict
you might as well ask for world peace

not gonna happen

sad

The Syrian war is too complicated to resolve diplomatically. The foreign powers (Turkey, Russia, Saudi, USA, Iran, Qatar etc) have invested too much money into their champions to call it quits now. The failed Nabucco project, the US obsession to be the only country with military bases abroad, ideologists like Prince Bandar, Iranian funding of anti-Saudi groups, Saudi funding of anti-Iran groups, Iran trying to establish an axis with puppets fron the Indus to the Mediterranean, US and Saudi trying to avoid it etc, are adding fuel to the fire. And the sad thing is that it all started because of a drought.

In other words, the Syrian civil war can only end if one of the factions wins a total victory.

What I like about the Syrian Civil War is whatever the winning side is, the new Syrian military will be the most elite, battle hardened troops in the entire Middle East.

>a KIKE not wanting WW3 ?
EXBLAIN YOURSELF!

LET ASSAD WIN

There are no actual Western media personnel on the ground in Syria. Stop believing the words of pro-Rebel """activists""" and other highly suspect sources as gospel truth just because they appear in CNN.

Yes.
(no)

So will be anyone out there.

>Is there any way to actually stop the horrors in Syria?

Massive military intervention and restoration of colonialism.

Or atleast separation along religious and ethnic divides.

The tribal fighters have been the most "elite" troops all along, considering the mighty US army couldn't flush them out of Bumfuckistan, Afghanistan, etc.

it's called hiding amongst the population

>Or atleast separation along religious and ethnic divides.
That always works out well, doesn't at all create even deeper divides.

Strategy is part of warfare.

being elite is open to interpretation when your only talent is that you look like every other raghead

Yeah, no.
An "elite" army understands the terrain.

The Americans were good at asymmetrical warfare decades ago, but they have apparently forgotten how to Iran-Contra.

Worked for Europe pretty well. You have to move the minorities though.

Any real solution would take too long to implement to actually help syrians still in Syria. And by real solutions I mean something like the countries competing for influence through Syria going through political reforms that depose the current rulers so they wouldn't do stupid shit like starting proxy wars in foreign countries ever again.

>The Americans were good at asymmetrical warfare decades ago
As in against the Viet Cong?

As in Panama, Nicaragua, Grenada, Indonesia etc. American troops and mercenaries were ruthless, besides they knew whom to bribe and when to look away. Since the 90s they completely switched to permafailure at asymmetrical warfare though. Maybe it's the lack of a second superpower, maybe it's the internet where you can get information from many sources other than Western propaganda, who knows.

>what is war fatigue

either the western forces or Russia withdraw. there's no other way

If there is to be any weight to international treaties and laws on war crimes, there must be designated punishments for their occurrence. Only an international police force commanded by the UN could be justified in such an action and individual countries cannot be counted upon to enforce international law. This would require and investigative unit and court to dispense Justice.

As we live in an increasingly multipolar world, our methods of dispensing Justice must be primarily independent. If a UN protection fee of .25% of GDP was realized, the resulting volunteer military force could tackle minor Peace keeping operations and dispense Justice.

Overthrow capitalism, lad.

Further operationalize the UN yoo guys
