Non-American, we had a special room for this kind of stuff. I remember watching old war movies, patriotic stuff. Sometimes my mates would bring their own CDs and they'd play them if the teacher's okay with it.
This big green nigger
My uncle said that the school used to have a room like this.
Huge long room in the largest building.
Basically a mini theatre.
However they got rid of that once TVs became cheap they could cart them around on a floor.
They converted it in to 2 media suites, one for graphics and one for general computing. Computers from mid-90s, some still running old Apple or Windows OSes.
Neither of them were actively used as classrooms though, it was self-study rooms for the most part.
Only time I ever remember there being an active class in there was for PSE back in the first 2 years of high school. (Personal & Social education)
