Could someone explain to me the beef between Palestine and Israel, I would appreciate unbiased information on who, when, why, and how began the whole conflict, including the repercussions to the date.
And please, with as little as possible jihad and/or greed excuses as to why the whole ordeal occurred.

World Powers post WW2 agreed on some form of Israel.
Soviet Union pushed for a secular federal republic for hebrews and palestinians.
Brits and US pushed for a jewish state and imperialist foothold for themself in the middle east.
While there was a peaceful existence for jews in the region before, the western push for a seperate jewish state put up the reactionary muslim clerics and leaders on the plan.
The Soviet Unions resolution was then rejected by both sides, the wester powers had successfully devided the people and forced tensions on them. The jews and the other semite people who lived in the area were generally nomadic. And as the area was sparesely populated they mostly didn't get in each others' way.
When the Ottoman Empire happened, everyone who wasn't Jewish became Muslim. That's how the muslims got there.

When WW2 finished, a lot of the countries who won the war felt bad for what happened to the Jews, and "created" a state called Israel, right in the place where the Jews used to live among the other semites - who were now about half Christian and half Muslim.
"Israel" was not very popular with the 100% muslim countries neighbouring it. They got in wars and every time Israel won a war, a bunch of Christian and Muslim refugees would end up in camps around the area. These refugees got more and more poor and desperate and eventually they started campaigns to try to irritate and harrass Israel - called the Intifadas.
These Intifadas sometimes used a lot of suicide mobming, which got a lot of horrified attention from the rest of the world. Basically anybody who is not a muslim-hater is now on the side of the non-Jewish residents of the area, who by now are just called "Palestinians".
Although there is a lot of history there, today Israel has become so successful that the battle has devolved into a war between the rich and the poor.
Among muslim countries worldwide, it has become casually acceptable for people to say it would be nice to destroy Israel and kill every last person living there.
Because so many of the Israelis moved there from the USA, they have strong relationship ties to the USA. And they also have nuclear weapons which is probably the main reason no neighbouring muslim country has outright attacked Israel.
I used to think Israel was bad and racist - and now I don't care. I realise my own country has problems and that it isn't my business to look after how other countries address their challenges and their identity.
