Steam account giveaway.
Video games are ruining my fucking life and I've tried to quit so many times and failed so this is my last resort.
Are there any security concerns associated with giving away a Steam account and how can I resolve these before gifting?
no security concerns as far as i know. if you have steam guard on maybe you could disable it before you give it away? otherwise i dont think you can give it away because someone would have to have your phone number to get into it.

card information isn't stored on steam, you only see if it's a mastercard or visa and the last 2 digits. just click on your account details and then click on view purchase history to see that.
as far as purchase history, well yeah, someone can see what you bought for who. there's no way to stop that, but that's up to you, if that bothers you that someone could see what you bought and for who, there's no way around that
If you give your acct to a different computer it doesn't keep the credit card, or personal info attached.
