Is there a city in Australia where soccer is the number one sport?
A city were they dont like rugby or cricket, just soccer.

nope, wogs on pooicide watch

Hang on ur not Costa Rica

He's migrating north before the wall is built.

rugby and afl are dominant right now

cricket will be third while boomers are still breathing and indians/pakis keep coming in

kek no

...

Cringilla

Whats the difference between rugby and afl anyways?

pretty much fucking everything you dumb shit

Based Wollongong

In terms of relevance it goes
>cricket
>australian rules
>rugby league
>rugby union
>netball
>soccer

soccer is only watched by wogs and lebs and wogs and lebs are minorities in every city

Western Sydney, cuz lebs

Western Sydney isn't a city you dumb fuck

Nah not really. In certain regions in Melbourne and Sydney it's probably the 2nd most popular
But literally everywhere else in the country it would be lucky to be the 4th most popular

might as well be though

it's bigger than Adelaide now.

I did a shit that was bigger than Adelaide

Soccer is the number one sport in Australia. /cric/ and /nrl/ are trying to make you think that it's irrelevant while hiding the irrelevancy of their own shitty sports.

The Big Bash League attendances on Friday? 384 and 511.

A-League attendances last round? Above 90000.

This tbqh

Reminder the largest wogball team in the country isn't allowed to play at its home ground because the muscular BBL is given precedence
Reminder an amateur women's cricket league in its first year of existence had three times the average viewership of a long standing wogball league
Reminder the vast majority of wogball leagues are running at a loss and are not considered sustainable at this stage

reminder this thread quickly became all australian flags once everyone realized they had nothing to talk about concerning the least relevant """"""""""""""""""continent"""""""""""""""""""""""" on the planet

oceania on suicide watch

will we ever recover from this?

Oak Flats

Christmas Island and Nauru

No it's probably 3rd or 4th in most cities.

It does pretty well considering it is mediocre quality Soccer. Newest TV deal should ensure stability for most clubs now.

Biggest problem Soccer has in Australia is that they aren't very good at it and would bandwagon it as soon as they got good but it will probably never happen because of such a small population spreading athletes over half a dozen professional sports.

Basing Soccer popularity on the A-League isn't really right though because there are more Premier League gloryhunters than A-League fans in Australia. Most Premier League fans, especially immigrants from Asia will never watch A-League.

>home of the Lee brothers

Nah

thanks mr. aussie

>it's probably third or fourth in most cities
No it isn't
>premier league fans
Don't even watch any games. They pretend to follow wogball because they think it makes them cultured

Kys Stavros

That Costa Rica poster is a legitimate nutjob

Thanks mate

Kek there was peak bandwagoning in 2006 and even then it wasn't close to the obsession that people have towards league, aussie rules and cricket

Honestly, I remember back when the NSL was on and everything was pretty fucked as far as money and stability of the competition goes. I'd say that youth development was better though (re. 2006 Socceroos squad).

I'm just glad that most clubs will have enough money to not go down the shitter now thanks to big, strong, muscular and elite Fox Sports.

KEK

Never said it was close to any of the traditional Australian sports

Reasons why Big Bash Lives matter
1. More money for CA
2. Young players are able to get a game
3. More money and incentive for players to peruse/continues their cricketing careers
4. Children being targeted means more kids will be playing junior cricket and be lifelong cricket fans
5. Another nail in the coffin for wogball
