I watched the Chakotay Boxing episode in fast forward and the added surrealism made it amusing.

He was off his tits on peyote half the time.

pseudo-peyote that doesn't actually get you high.

>B5 boxing ep
>Voyager boxing ep
>BSG boxing ep
Choose one and only one.

Doctor was a better captain than janeway

Voyager wrestling episode.

...

UPN was a mistake.

His character was boring.
It's obvious why he joined the Maquis , which was the most interesting part of his character. And we all know how VOY treated the integration of the Maquis crew on to the federation ship. *YAWN*

Was Fuller voyager or ds9?

Chakotay was a quip machine. As an MCU fan I really appreciated that. In OP pic, he replied "Just his gloves" to an EMH inquiry about whether his opponent had used energy weapons on him. That's top tier quipping and it was just an average quip for Chakotay.

The fact that he's a magical person descended from an alien race only makes his character more compelling. He's like a human Data. A really, really human Data who is actually rubbertree and not really fully human.

The guy they hired as a native american consult was a fraud and not actually native america.

Well let's be honest, it's easy to mistake an Armenian for a Redman, right?

>Robert Beltran hated playing a stereotypical injun spirit guide from a made-up tribe so much that he kept asking for more money every season hoping the producers would have enough and finally just kill off his character.

>Instead they kept giving him more money. He asked for a romance with 7 of 9 and they gave him that too. Beltran would later quip that he could've pushed for the show to be renamed "Chakotay's Chipotles" and they probably would've gone for that too.

Him and Tim Russ were probably the two cast members who got the most out of their roles and their time on the show.

I appreciate Mr Highwater's fraudulence because really, the stories the real so-called "Indians" believe in are all made up too. He saw an avenue for exploit and took advantage. Great guy, not quite on par with L. Ron Hubbard but at least as good as Joseph Smith.

Chipotle is one of the worst first officers ever.

His entire character arc is based on how bad of a judge of character he is. Literally every person who vouched for was some kind of saboteur. A running theme with him is he usually picks the answer that seems intuitively correct to the audience, but always turns out to be wrong.

Pretty much every decision he made in voyager was wrong. He nearly totally fucked up the whole species 8472 ordeal because of "muh intuition"

Does the Peace Pipe add calories or something?

no, but living a sedentary lifestyle does
he looks better than most

Offical Kino #2 list

1.) Riker
2.) Spock
3.) Chakotay
4.) Whoever the fuck it was on DS9
5.) Sylar
6.) Whoever the fuck it was on that prequel

Spock is cool but he might as well be co-Captain with Kirk. Riker was a genuine #2 to Picard.

there was no # 2 on ds9 because everyone was equal to that role(except for bashir), and you can even argue that it was garak

No wonder I couldn't remember who it was.

>there was no # 2 on ds9 because everyone was equal to that role(except for bashir), and you can even argue that it was garak
Dax was just the "we can recalibrate the nuons to bounce off the plot device" girl and Bashir had absolutely no say outside of his official medical capacity.
Worf, Kira, and O'Brien basically shared equal power and responsibility as Sisko's #2.
It's astounding that Starfleet never heard if a warrant officer corps, O'Brien's job is easily lieutenant commander level or above.

...

was she ever officially #2?

*cums*

Yes. She even gives orders to Worf and Dax on occasion.

She was, but wasn't at the same time. She was Benjamin's #2, but since she wasn't starfleet, she wasn't technically.
