Gamer Sup Forumsros, what brand(s) would you suggest checking out for a new gaming headset. I'm not asking you to just give me the specific ones to buy, I will research suggestions. I just want to hear other think for overall quality.

My current ones are the Logitech from a few years ago, I like the sound quality but the plastic eventually snapped on both sides, the other side is taped black. I'm honestly not that rough with them, I don't throw them down or anything.

What do you guys use?

It doesn't fucking matter

You're listening to sounds that don't have any artistry, so quality doesn't matter

Music and foley artists for games work like an assembly line in that industry (unless you're playing some shitty indie game, which you probably aren't.) You don't need to worry about that level of quality when you play your little plebeian FPS games made for retards and Koreans.

Just stay with your logitec you lowly gamer. Just get one that is comfortable. That's ALL that matters. You're not gonna use to listen to music, although considering you're probably and FPS gamer, you'll be listening to Atilla or Lil Wayne, so again, sound quality doesn't matter when you're listening to something that cannot be enhanced by anything.

Literally none buy a vmoda mic and good headphones

I had the g930 broke in same place as yours it's garbage

Did you seriously write all of that to say "I'm an elitist faggot who loves to listen to vinyl while I gobble cocks"?

Bought a turtle beach p11
>comfortable
>long cord (no batteries)
>mic boom can pivot and move in any direction
>game volume and chat volume separated
>volume adjustments for both on cord

No I typed all that so that somebody would come back at me with something funny, but then I remembered I'm on Sup Forums and nobody has any comedic sensibilities because autism makes it hard for people to pick up on obvious social cues like humor, fun, or being a normal person.

You certainly pick up cues to be a decent person and somehow end up being a massive faggot

he's on Sup Forums after all

stop being a complete fucktard.

do not buy "LEERT MLG PRO ZOMG" shit
do not buy turtle beach shit
do not buy razer shit
do not buy logitech shit (for audio)

get a good headset and a good standalone mic, you goddamn faggot. i'm sick of hearing all you assholes shreiking on your cheap chinese shitty headsets.

No you're the one who didn't fucking pick up on the obvious cues to go with the bit

fucking newfags don't know how to stay is character

go start a porn thread and make some bland observations about boring shit newfag

I have the Turtle beach elite pros, they are not too bad but I wanna get something like pic related LG Tone Studio, they create a sound bubble around your head.

I got a redragon lagopasmutus a few months ago, the name is cancer but the sound is pretty good, and it has some dope ass vibrating feature that massages your head, its some cheap chinese thing, but my mouse is also redragon and its still going strong on like 3 years

I had a pair of siberia 350; was not impressed.
ended up buying a pair of audio-technica's and a snowball microphone. i'm content now.

Get an actual microphone like a Blue Yeti or an even cheap CAD U34 with a scissor mount and a wind filter, and some desktop speakers. Headsets are for faggots

Just jumped into this thread and dude you're a faggot

>gamer gear
millennials are retarded

Don't have any suggestions but I got a Logitech one a couple months ago and they've already broken so can confirm the manufacturing quality is still shit

I'll just leave that to you so you can make another gay thread :^)

Ive had a wireless corsair headset for a while now. It was pretty cheap and is still going strong, lack of wires is convenient and helps it not break fast.

Dt770 dt880 or dt990 with modmic as microphone
~$300

Note: modmic need a good soundcard

The HyperX Cloud is the only headset that's worth a shit.

Sades is a great brand to look into. I picked up a pair of Sades SA-710s for $25 off of Amazon two years ago and they're still working strong.

holy fuck you're a massive faggot bet you are fun at parties oh wait you probably never leave your fucking house fat neckbeard

OP i just purchased razer kraken v2s and was surprised since i thought razer was gonna be shit
mic quality is better than expected too

yep, solid as fuck with good sound

i have hyperx cloud 2 and would buy them again.
But as someone said earlier, they brand the gaming headsets with "gaming design" and sell it way overpriced. You could probably get an overall wayyy better audiophile headset with a separate mic for the same price.
But if you want a gaming headset, i like hyperx. maybe check out their new revolver headset, looks decent.

i stick a male to male connector from my ass directly into my computer

this allows me to hear when I'm about to be raped from behind in fps games such as dota episode 2

have you considered beats?

i have a friend who has a kraken (dunno which one exactly), and i can't vouch for the sound, but the mic is fucking TERRIBLE. the sound is alright, but when he letsTeamspeak pick up his mic automatically, it either picks up all his in game sounds, OR if he moves the mic further away, his mic falls out all the time while talking. shit headset

same logitech story here

Your favorite headphones + antlion mic

my favorite headset to this day was the Roccat Kave 5.1

name

Fucking this.

Using sennheiser hd 598 for the last 3 years with a modmic. Im never using "gamer" headsets ever again.

>LOGitech

Audio Technica headphones and some other faggot can suggest a good microphone.

I just bought the Revolver a couple of weeks ago.
Coming from the Siberia 200 it was a major upgrade.

I've had shitty ones and great ones from all sorts of weird fucking brands, but overall I'd suggest Sennheiser. I've owned about 8 sets of their headphones and they've never let me down. Only a couple were gaming capable tho, so I can't really comment on consistent mic quality.

She would be really fucking hot if she had no dick

>I've owned about 8 sets of their headphones and they've never let me down.
Over how long and why 8? To me, that sounds like they break easily because they're shite.

>she

HyperX clouds are pretty much the only thing worth mentioning. Beyerdynamic drivers and great mic, for a small price; but sturdy as fuck.

This but buy the cloud 1 not the cloud 2, had both and the 1 is just better.

Cloud Revolver or Revolver S don't be a peasant.

I have different types. One behind the head, one on-ear, one over-ear but open, another over-ear but closed. Then my wife has had a couple, both over-ear, but one is a softer and lower end one. Then I've also had the ones for gaming. I've only ever had one die, and it was just the earpads that gave out and I couldn't find replacements. I think they lasted about 5 years, which isn't that great, but they were like PX100s or something (don't remember the model number, too lazy to look it up). Low end, but sounded amazing.

sounds like an issue on his side that has nothing to do with the headset. i'm using razer kraken 7.1 v2s and all my friends are asking me if i bought a mic on the side because they couldn't believe how fucking good it was for razer.

I use the same... still

we've already conlcuded that HyperX does the best gaming grade headphones so fuck off

Bait harder

G430s, nice, used to own a pair, same thing happened to me

Now I have G930s. absolutely wonderful, and the sides dont snap.

How does the wireless capability hold up on these? Not the biggest fan of wireless products due to issues with stuff in the past, but I guess things can improve

Gaming headsets are for idiots who buy grossly overpriced shit.

Get something worth the money.

I really like my Sony Gold bt headphones. They sound great, have customizable eq, work via bt or wired.

ok nice im responding to someone so fuck off dumb greasy neckbeard cunt i bet you didnt do anything for mothers day because it would require you to leave your fat greasy humid basement you dumb nigger

I also might add that I've always been partial to either Sony or Senn closed headphones. For under $100, with wired/wireless and customizable eq settings, these fit the bill nicely. They sound great for the money, whether for gaming, movies, or music.
>Some of my music reference material is the Dave Brubeck, Take Five and Blue Rondo a la Turk. So yes, I know proper musical references. My stereo speakers are Infinity Interlude IL40s.

My hyper x are really comfy for extended periods.

Pros - great quality and customer service for reasonable pricing.

Cons - my model has the 7.1 extension, this removes software from being able to modify the settings... generally its fine, but it did fuck with Discord a little.
